Too bad your in the Mid-West. Wife needs a kart, but this is just too far away. Hope you get what you need from it.

James, I believe this cart will go about 50. I would say that the 15 year old will be fine but the 11 year old I don't know about. Only you can say if he is mature enough to handle something like this. I will say though that it is relatively safe; you can crank the wheel at full speed and because of the incredibly low center of gravity and wide rear wheels, it will only spin, not flip or roll. It has a centrifugal clutch with a single disk brake in the rear. I hope this helps, Jerry.

Jerry - educate me please. What displacement engine is this? Is this too much cart for a 15 year-old? How about an 11 year-old? Centrifugal clutch or manual shifter? Single disk in the back, dual in front? I am entertaining pursuing a career for my kids. Any help is appreciated. This might keep them away from their computer late at night.

for the price you are looking at getting, it would be a very economical autox alternative. =D at our local autox, we have a shifter cart and non-shifter cart that show up.

You can view the cart here. I know a lot of you are into carts, so I thought I'd pass this along. Thanks, Jerry
