Chris I am not familiar with Chicago, but in most states, you do not need to transfer title at the DMV. Its simply a matter of signing and handing the title over. The buyer will apply for a new title at the DMV at his convienence. If your selling your Ferrari, I have had great success with FML (Ferrari Market Letter)located on the web. They charge you $35 per year but as you will see, I have yet to find more listings anywhere. I have purchased a Ferrari from there listings as well as other cars on Yahoo Classifieds. If you need to transport your car, buying or selling, use Passport Transport. They are very experienced at handling and transporting expensive cars. I have used them 3 times with perfect results. Good Luck |

Anyone ever sell their Ferrari ( or any car ) through want ads? In Chicago, I hear there are some funny regulations at the dmv. How can you do it properly? I thought you just negotiate a price and transfer the title at the dmv to your seller. |
