I'll second that, his patience, planning and dedication and talent is unbelieveable

He probably could sell the model and buy a nice full size Ferrari

FYI from www.fineartmodels.com

"Well, he first started out to build the 1:3 P4 Ferrari with the blessing of the Ferrari factory. But after the death of Mr. Ferrari, the factory turned into Fiat and the passion was gone along with the support: when Ferrari did not make available the plans he needed, he had no way to proceed. Today, however, Pierre has access to a real P4 along with all the drawings and information he needs to do it in 1:3, and we are sponsoring him in building it, because we believe his talent must live on."

Why would a person build a 1/4 scale model to this extent?

I would think one would build a full scale model you could could at least drive.

Todd, it has 24 valves, 2 per cylinder (V-12)

Amazing though.

If this guy is married can you imagine his wife screaming at him to give it up. A perfectionist and quite talented to say the least.

Unbelievable. simply amazing.
You just have to respect this.
I think Ferrari(company) should give him a car simply for showing that much dedication.
And those final words,

"Proud... yes, maybe."

priceless.

Tim N is correct...but the amount of work involved was staggering.

Now if only someone can get that damn shrinking ray to work...

This vid has been on this site 3 times. That is an amazing accomplishment, but it probably would have been cheaper and easir to build a full scale replica. He must have had to build molds to cast all the parts,, which must have been time consuming and exepensive.
