Jim, the 8 Frenchmen that all did me wrong one way or another is current. First one was in high school and latest one was within past two years. I was just stating a fact, I don't hate all French, just those 8. Next one I meet I'll judge over time.

you guys are biting again.....if you don't want to hear from antoine/angelo/tony etc, then just ignore. he is not interested in debating you on anything; he is only interested in getting a rise....which he manages to do every time.

don't get into a fight with a pig; by the time the fight is over both of you are so covered in mud that nobody can tell who the pig is anymore....

Ohh, you're a little closer than me, would you mind going over to my relatives graves and paying respects for me. They were Americans and still haven't come home.

Antione, does your backside still hurt from Hitler coming into your country? I don't know if you were alive back then, but after that kind of pounding, the pain must be genetic and passed down throught the ages. The thing that sickens me the most is that the French just gave up and then went to get their Jews to give the Nazis so the big bad Germans wouldn't destroy the pretty Paris pastry shops.

Ahh, you're French, that explains much. I'm the most open minded liberal person in the world, but I'm yet to meet a Frenchman I like. Through school and studying abroad I've given each an honest shot to be a friend, it really bothers me as there has been hardly anyone in my life I couldn't get along with. I try to judge each person for who they are, not nationality, sex, race, or sexual orientation. In hindsight I can say I have friends from almost every technical category without it ever coming to mind before. However, I'm still trying not to be judgmental, but so far French-men are 0 for 8 with me. No problem with French women, trust me, but why is it that French men and Americans don't get along? Let's face it, they hate us the worse, but it's like they have problems with the rest of the world too. First time I was even aware of national hate towards the French was in Scotland. Americans for the most part just don't care what they think. Heck, we're an isolated society geographically and educationally. The French know more about American history than we do. So most Americans don't know the French hate us and those that do, don't care, maybe that's what makes it worse for them. We're ho hum happy and they're just stewing trying to make our lives as miserable as theirs.

Oh, I'm still open minded, I very much hope that the next Frenchman I meet will make my record 1 and 9. BTW, I'm glad your country doesn't speak German now.

Antoine, or whoever you are this time,

There is a huge difference between revoking a privilege for a chat board for annoying, racist bigots and the French then murdering millions. Compare Rob to Hitler is just proving that you are more ignorant then 99% of the world population. We value freedom but not at the expense of the moronic French. Remember, WE saved you in WW2.

Antoine,

All I was saying is that there is no right of freedom of speech in a privately-owned forum. If Rob feels the need to censor or ban someone because they are disrupting things, it is his absolute right to do so. I fail to see how my pointing this out tarnishes my status as a "real American."

It's a chat board. Lighten up. :-)

Antoine, the people who Rob has ejected from this forum were not expressing their opinions. They were insulting, harassing, making racial slurs, and not being constructive to the forum in any way.

Next time I am near your area, remind me to stop by your office and insult you with ethnic slurs and other insulting comments. I hope you don't kick me out, since I was just expressing my freedom of speech!

Todd,

That is an oxymoronic comment that I had hoped only Jerry Seinfield, George Costanza or George Carlin would say. I never thought a real American would say such a thing and in public as well. Perhaps the ugly American reputation trans-world is well founded after all after I have defended you throughout my life as my French family was there when I was born. Oh well. Cancelling sunscribers because you do not like what they say is no different that Mr. Hitler and his kind throughout world history.

Oh, Mr. Lay, do not try to email me as corporate firewall simply will not let you through as you are not an approved user. Most major corporations will provide the same protection to their system.

Perhaps you are one of the Burkes (Dickheads in American English) with their heads up their arse that are spoken about here.

Ok, I've made it mandatory that users provide a valid email to register. It sends an email to the address for the user to activate instead of being automatic like before. Still not a 100% solution, but now with a valid email we'll have a few more options. As far as I know, [email protected] was his valid email, but if not, I bet some clueless person was getting much mail. I suspended his old account, so who knows what he'll register as now. Should be fun. Then we'll have his real email for sure.

Once again, someone that is ignorant, a hypocrit, and has a loud mouth, what else is new?

The title for this thread should be "It's easy to be a tough guy on the internet". For some reason I have a feeling that these guys don't talk like this to people at a bar.

Oh yeah, point out my typos, thats real mature.
Puerto Rico isnt a thrid world country, it isnt even a country. i'm in preschool. does it suprise you that i know that? While i dont agree with the puerto rico situation (they should pay income tax like the rest of us) they are still a commonwealth of an industrialized country. if puerto rico was a country, then you might have a slight argument.
Angelo, i strongly suggest you leave. the only positive thing coming out of your existence is the practice i'm getting for flaming idiots like you.

I dont beleive that "angelo" is a kid, hes writing proves that he isnt a complete idiot, although he is pretty close. As for wh will have a better life, that depends on your defininntion. I dont know angelo and never will. My definition of a good life is based on my family and how happy i am. I beleiveb that you arent what kind of car you drive, you arent how much is in your bank account, and you arent the clothes that you wear.
At this point, redemtion is a very unlikely option for "tony/angleo"
The moral of this thread is that there is a difference between disagreeing and flaming.

Didn't your father teach you not to make assumptions Rob? I have no clue who Tony is or was nor do I care. He was right about a few points, namely the one I reiterated in a prior memo. He stated that you cancelled his account on another car website and Tony the Greaseball is his real name it seems.

Let's ignore Bin Laden and maybe he'll just go away too. That'll work. Solve the arrogance problem that some on your site promote and maybe it will go away - how about that?

Please block your AOL users to remove some of this clutter. I am not one anyway.

Martin, you are right. You DID bring it on with your big mouth, bragging, closed mind and CRITICISM OF OTHERS. Essentially you are a bigot. Oh, it has nothing to do with the Porsche guys in Kansas City but your belittling of someone proud of buying a new car. Since it was not a Ferrari you felt the need to imply he was stupid and went on to spew fabricated and erroneous facts about the car he bought. I don't care if it was a Pacer - if that man is happy with it and proud of it then he is just as much a "car guy" as anyone and has the right to do as he pleases without bullshit from you and your kind.

Fellow FerrariChattters can thank you for your meaningful contributions. As Matt the Racer on the soapbox says (paraphrased)...make this world a better place, go away Martin and leave the site alone. You constant meaningless comments to almost every post just add clutter.

I, and others, enjoy just reading the posts and learning and are not compelled to add to every thread to validate ourselves as you do. Your absence would be addition by subtraction.

The rest of you who try to psychoanalyze peopel who post should look in the mirror and see where you are on the foodchain. Your colors really came through certain Ferraristi boys. For the decent and humble and un-selfabsorbed people on here please be assured that the educated world can easily differentiate.

Angelo just proved he's Tony, because I've never deleted Angelo's account. Not like we didn't know that already. I think it's kinda funny, Angelo does have some clever responses. It's not really bothering me because it's obvious that's what he's trying to do. I won't delete his id either and I can't block his IP, because then the other 100 or so AOL users might get blocked too. Remember this is a diverse community, Angelo just happens to be off the scale.

These two (or one) clown is surely one of these immature Porsche owners that werre sitting there laughing when Chris and his group walked in. Figures kind of the same behavior.

I agree, ignore them from now on. Tim, Ernesto and all you others, just picture them as the fat guy in his underpants in front of the computer.

Tim, dont worry, I am fairly certain that:

1. Angelo is NOT Italian
2. Angelo is NOT his real name
3. Angelo is a complete loser in life who has never accomplished anything
4. Angelo is jealous of anybody and everybody because he feels inferior and inadequate
5. Angelo is a pathetic individual who doesn't have the courage to do anything in real life, but in an online forum he is empowered like never before

So, dont feel bad Tim... your life is/will be 1,000 times better than "Angelo's", who has nothing better to do than come here and be an and write multi-paragraph stories. He is frustrated in life and taking it out on people he is jealous of.

Generally flame wars here are entertaining, but this one is so boring I barely read half the posts. That is the worst insult I can imagine.

If you guys (Angelo & Greaseball in particular) can't be more creative than give it up. You seem pretty young and inexperienced to be interesting to adults when it starts to fly and your lack of age is showing, badly. What are you guys, 14? Go to the Porsche sites and sharpen your skills there for a few months please, then come back here and maybe you can have a higher level of entertainment value.

Enjoy my playgroud years angleo?? give me a break. you are making fun of me most likely because I'm 18, i'm in the physical prime of my life while you are just some bitter over the hill has-been (or probably never has been, lol) who is mad becasue hes lettging someone much younger than him piss him off. You shuold be jealous of my as i still have my youth, you clearly have nothing. I am so much better than you it makes me sick (ths coming from a modest person!). Quote from Mr. Angelo:

"And why don't all you F-car racers participate in SCCA rather than just track day or Challenge. Make it real and valid racing - not the "touching not allowed" on track days, giving rides to girlies and take on the other makes?"

My response:

Well as a matter of fact I do race AND TRADE PAINT in SCCA. DO YOU? or do you just sit in front of the boob tube with a bud and think "..gee I could do that too..."

I race a Spec Racer Ford (or Spec Wrecker as we call them) and have traded plenty of paint this year at both the National and Regional level. In fact I just got my Pro License in the mail this week, where'd you get yours from Playstation 2 or Xbox?

There are plenty of people on this site who race in SCCA, NASA, Viperdays, etc (Rob L., Chuck, Peter, etc...) and there are plenty more that could if they chose to (Matt, Martin, William etc...)

What racing experience do you have, what license, what tracks, what cars, how bout some lap times (again Xbox and Playstation 2 excluded). If you do have a SCCA license (highly unlikely) I would love to trade some paint with you at a track of your choosing in a Spec Racer.

Like Matt said what's your point in posting.

ANGELO....PLEASE GO AWAY. YOU ARE REALLY NOT WELCOME OR WANTED HERE. YOU HAVE COME INTO OUR COMMUNITY, INSULTED PEOPLE, AND LOWERED THE QUALITY OF A SITE WHICH MANY MANY PEOPLE HAVE SPENT A LONG TIME BUILDING. REALLY, YOU ARE NOT ONE OF THE BOYS, AND MAYBE IT IS TIME FOR YOU TO JUST GO AWAY. I AM NOT GOING TO INSULT YOU, OR CALL YOU NAMES, OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. I AM SIMPLY ASKING YOU TO LEAVE. OUR SITE WAS, IS, AND WILL BE BETTER WITHOUT YOU. I HOPE YOU CAN UNDERSTAND WHAT I AM SAYING. I HOPE YOU WILL JUST DO AS I HAVE ASKED. THANK YOU.

No original thoughts Ernesto? That is the best you can do? Try harder next time. Nice to know you are trying to get your head up MY ass - LOL.

Really impressive comeback little Timmy - keep petting with Lassie and enjoy your playground years.

Hey Rob, why would you post a slide of something that you have no clue what it is? Lame. Just keep on cancelling accounts or better yet, just ignore those guys and they will go away. You won't believe the barrage of regular old car guys from other car websites that will enjoy saying hello and hello and hello and

If you want to see who the real Tifosi are make it a pay site. $29.95 a month seems fair. That will eliminate all the wannabes and poseurs don't you think? Or better yet $29.95 a month with a one year minimum paid up front and a faxed copy of a current Ferrari registration. Just like you need your ZFF for the Ferrari Owner's Site. That ought to free up some server space for ya as all the model collectors fall by the wayside in ToysRUs and this venue becomes a real Ferrari Owner's Chat.

Local Man Arrested For Donut and Urinal Cake Heist

KMFA News Bureau

Barranquitas, Puerto Rico Yesterday, Ernesto the TaxiDriver was arrested by Barranquitas police for taking part in a donut heist that occurred last week. According to donut shop employees, TaxiDriver seemed to be acting as the ringleader during the heist and was driving a yellow Ford Pinto emblazoned with Scuderia Ferrari stickers and chanting, "Forza, forza" as the mob stormed Pedro's Pastries.

TaxiDriver and three accomplices, entered the shop with squirtguns in the shape of male genetalia and demanded all of the donuts. At first the employees were perplexed and laughed at the phallic pistols. One employee who had just finished pissing his pants prior to the interview was quoted as saying, At first I thought it was a joke. I thought the driver had a dicknose mask on but it turned out to be his real face. I have never heard of anyone stealing the donuts and leaving all the money in the register. This guy was dumber than he looked, dicknose and all, and that is hard to imagine." Pedro was relieved no one was hurt but was irritated about the piss on the floor as it attracted the flies from the other pastries in the shop where they usually added bead like deposits that customers enjoy.

Police arrested Ernesto TaxiDriver only a block away pushing the Pinto as he had left the keys in the ignition. It seems TaxiDriver left the keys in the car while the car idled for a week as the police were enroute. Police were confused as to why the running car was being pushed as the keys were in the ignition, the car had no windows, and the three associates were sleeping inside. TaxiDriver had no comment other than the doors were locked.

Police confiscated 100 kilos of then stale stolen donuts and 50 pounds of urinal cakes that TaxiDriver thought was compressed powdered sugar. Police suspect that TaxiDriver was going to illegally powder the stolen donuts, then sell them to local sugar addicts. TaxiDriver may also have connections with Columbian sugar lords. However, that has not yet been confirmed. This is the biggest donut and urinal cake bust in Rican history.

TaxiDriver is a known sugar addict. He was hospitalized for a week last year after consuming a 100 pound bag of sugar, became dillusional and claimed his Pinto was once owned by Puerto Rican celebrity PeeWee Herman. Doctors say he was lucky to live through the episode as an enraged PeeWee visited the TaxiDriver and roughed him up in his big screen TV box home. The satellite dish box was untouched reports say.

TaxiDriver had consumed over one dozen semi-melted urinal cakes prior to police arrival assuming it was salt flavored sugar. A police spokesperson said, "This guy is a danger to society. Had he not been stopped he would have eaten the entire supply of urinal cakes on the island"

Police also confiscated a mysterious blank CD found hanging from the Pinto mirror, a six pack of Olde English Malt Liquor and a 12 by 8 foot Puerto Rican flag duct taped to the trunk of the Pinto. Investigation continues.

LOL
going after Matt, you have got to be kidding.

If you question my driving ability I am the first to stand up and agree with you. Questioning Matt's or Jon's or William's you have to be smoking too much.

As for my car being fugly, yep, it somewhat is. As is the early 288/F40 version, which this was leaned on when it was built in the late 80s. The rear spoiler is a hiddious party table with room for 10, including the 2 side spoilers.
As for speed, Matt and Jon may have seen the car on the track in the early 90s I can not tell you yet. From what is in the car and the compression ratio it should be fast as hell. Once we fire it up and track it I can tell you more.

Greaseball as far as you trying to get a reaction form me other than laughing about you and your posts, hardly! :-O

Oh God, it seems as if we have to put up with morons like this from now on... people who seem to come out of nowhere just to critisize and create arguments.

People like Angelo, who have the luxury of creating fake user names so they are completely anonymous, versus the most of us who actually use this site. It is easy to take jabs and critizise when you look at other people's profile, yet you are completely anonymous so we cant look into your pathetic sorry life.

It is way too easy to act like a bad ass in an online forum, but I bet in person you dont even have the courage to look people in the face, let along put them down. My suggestion is to go get a life of you own, because coming here to put people down wont make your life any better.

Angelo, some things are not necessary to have to qualify.
I didn't think anyone would be foolish enough to think that car would beat the crap out of an F1 car.
By throwing that back to me, it shows me that your knowledge of, and ability to hold an intelligent conversation, about racecars is severly lacking.
Prodrive has more money than the Federal Reserve.
I do not find it necessary to swap paint to validate my ability. I am not a 'silver spoon kid' or wealthy. I do my own work on my racecar. I have a love and passion for what I drive, and do not want it banged up. I do however know, that in my SCCA class - T1 - , at the Glen, or Summit Point, or Lime Rock, most all fastest times are not as quick as mine.
I don't have a second seat in my car, a passenger throws the balance off (but you know that). It has never been on the street, and I don't wash it too often. I am however looking at the 252 hp Radical. That I would take to SCCA events. Easy to fix and not expensive to do so.
As Chief Driving Instructor for the Empire State Region of the FCA, I do allow other marques to attend our events. Not in large numbers, but we extend the courtesy, and receive the same in return. My instructor corp is a very diverse group, and they drive in our top and middle run group (depending on lap times). We all have a great time...is there something you know that I don't? So do me a favor and keep your jaded, uninformed opinions to yourself.

Do you have a CD hanging from the mirror of your supposedly owned Modena Ernesto along with beaded Daytona seats? Or is that just a pic you found online? Take a shot, get a shot pal. I drive a Checker Marathon so shoot away boys.

To make such an open ended comment as to "kick the crap out of anything on the racetrack" is quite a stretch there Matt and you should know that being a racer and all. If you qualified it by saying "in the same class" then maybe you could be taken seriously. And why don't all you F-car racers participate in SCCA rather than just track day or Challenge. Make it real and valid racing - not the "touching not allowed" on track days, giving rides to girlies and take on the other makes? Someone just asked why doesn't the so and so region allow other cars out there on track days? I'd rather see Legend Cars really race than poseurs thinking they are Nuvolari or Hill and ride around in circles. The vintage boys, now that is another story. Quite an interesting psychological side to all of this - the size of fish in size of pond scenario. Glad to see ProDrive and others taking F-cars out of the little pond and the protected status and racing and doing well in the big pond.

Let's all be friends but remember isolationism is no way to live boys. Lighten up and smell the roses.

Another person coming in, making a complete idiotic first post.
I like to think it's just another person of Tony's split personality, but nobody can tell for sure offcourse.
If your not, then I sincerly regret my comment, but it still doesn't make up for making a post like that.
But nuff said, no need to give an idiotic topic more space.
