Matt, the article says it that the price is $727,000, based on the cost of a 24 month lease.

And here I think that an F50 could be a reality for me one day while I'm handwringing & waiting for Doom III to come out. Ironic - I'm just helping Carmack get closer to an Enzo!

I have that issue of C&D and frankly i wasnt impressed. 125mph in the 1/4th for the F50 and 130 in the testa are not amazing. I know ferraris arent drag strip cars, but with 1000hp the testarossa should trap at over 140. From looking at the 12.3 (?pic is fuzzy) sec E/T this car has a major traction problem. Its not too often you see a low/mid 12 sec car with trap speeds of 130! With the right tuning the F50 would have been a rocket and the TR would have broken 200 though. It just goes to show that anything that can go wrong, will.

The ex-John Carmack twin-turbo TR showed up at our last karting challenge. It's now owned by a local enthusiast (I won't reveal his name, because it's not my place to do so). It's a beast, and a very cool car.

I heard John Carmack had a bi turbo F50 as a daily driver once, and a 1000bhp+ TR... wonder if he still has those...

Norwood Performance here in Dallas. Famous for his Norwood Ferrari turbo's in the 80's. James owns the Ferrari service portion of Norwoods now and might be able to help you out. They're very good friends of FerrariChat.com and many users here. Only take his time up if you have personal interest in that car or giving Norwood some of your business. Otherwise the users on this board can tell you about all you want. James can be reached at 972-831-8111.

From there go back to just the www.bobnorwood.com domain and see his other stuff.

So there is more than one? I figured that someone else would have done it by now. I am still fairly new to the forum so could you tell me who Norwood is? Did they do the conversion or some other company? Is there anywhere I can check it out? Thanks for the help Rob.

I was just curious if anyone knows where that F-50 Koenig put twin turbos on was located. Is it still overseas and if so has anyone here ever seen or heard anything else about it. It sounded to me like an amazing machine but all I ever saw on it was that web page with a few video clips on it and the write up on building it. If I were the owner I would definitly have to show that car more. Well just curious....thanks.
Matt
