Being able to own a Ferrari is a lifetime dream for many people.

Stop insulting people for realising their dreams through just efforts.

I've found closing a thread just creates three new equal or worse threads. I'm open to ideas, best now is just to 100% ignore, let's stop bringing this post to the top.

Mr Dyver,

Ok, you might have raised the odd snigger but its not all that funny really is it?

Cars and many other luxury items are a personal thing and the reason the majority of people come to this site is to share personal experiences and passions about Ferrari, so coming on here and insulting them will earn you few friends.

You seem to like corvettes and I'm sure there is some sort of similar forum for them so why not pop over over there with your clever picture of a man carrying you around on a bike.

PS. Rob, for what its worth, I post on another forum where the administrator there just closes down threads like this (not in a big brother way though) to prevent time & space being used up arguing.

The funny thing is that because very few people on the board find the photo funny, that now you think you need to attack the cars the board is about. I don't get it. The picture isn't funny, whether Ferraris are POS or not.
Why do people that obviously don't like Ferraris or at least feel they are sub-par, hang around so much on this site. I am not asking them to leave, just curious of the motivation. I have a passion for Ferraris and love to learn about ownership and history and I have no interest in Porsche or Corvette, so I stay off their boards. Why is it different here. I see an increasing number of people that neither own or even like Ferraris posting here, why not go to the Supra board, CorvetteChat or PorschePost and bag on Ferrari.

Tim,

The guys with the big money usually have the rare and collectibles and their own mechanics. The majority of FNA dealer's gouging comes from the mass produced cars like the 3x8, 355, TR, Mondials, etc. that are now affordable to people who break their asses enough (not the super rich). What do you think the profit is on a major service on a 348? Figure it out - those profits are Enron like and it sucks. Yeah, they are fun, I own and have owned them, but we just feed these bastards by waiting in line and even paying THEM over sticker for a used car. So much for their ethics. You do know that right? The dealer's leasing company buys a new spider at cost, it becomes used then teh dealer can sell it for any price they want thus complying with the no new car over MSRP rule from FNA. So much for FNA's no-over sticker rule! And the list is full of their leasing companies not guys like us that will wait to pay sticker.

Protest! Let the cars sit. 575's are. People who thought they could be flipped are now walking to avoid the hit on their 550's. Every dealer has them sitting. 355's are as dead as doornails.

Dollar for dollar, a Corvette is the best sprots car value in the US. New or used. I agree with you.

Shouldn't this be off topic. Where is Nika now that we need her? (to put a stop to this sort of crap)

Pfffffft. What's that noise??? Money flying out of your wallet to make someone else rich because of poor design and dare I say, gouging. Coulda paid for an education by the time you experience the Ferrari mystique.

Wake up.

Damn, I forgot Ferrari owners are on a higher plane. Damn. Do they all carry bibles?

Yes, I laughed. I'm still laughing. About 30 other guys here are laughing at you now.

You guys are too serious about yourselves. Lighten the up.

Ferrari has been dicking you for years. Design an engine that can last with reasonable maintenance - oh wait, excessive maintenance is our goal. Christ.

I've always felt that if you have to tell a joke twice, and still nobody laughs, it's probably not funny.

Not really funny, this isn't a porn site. Maybe we can keep it on a little higher plane. Or, maybe I'm just a little too conservative for some folks.
