I also agree with Aaron, I believe that might be one I saw on iaai (insurance auto auctions).

In fact, if it is, I went to check out some parts from this Ferrari service/tuner/repair shop I had found out about over here (about mid- last summer), and the guy seemed to be in some way involved with this car. He mentioned they picked it up for over 100, but wouldn't be specific. I don't know his affiliation with the car, if he was honest about the price, or if that is even the same car--but just adding what I think I know about this case...

[WOW, with this post, I am now in Karting, YIPPEE!!!]

I think I saw that same car either on copart or iaai can't remember now but I definetly remember it. It's kind of a rare car to be sold at those auctions.

Do you guys only track the F40 or can it be a daily driving car. Well may be not every day but street driving.

Likes like a Euro model. Looks like an expensive fix.

Doesn't look like a "real" F40 to me, anyway. Besides, you can buy running, working F40's for $275K (less for Euro F40s), why pay $250K for one that needs $50K-100K worth of work?

There has to be more damage to the car than is shown. Why in the world would somebody put the 'salvage tag' on that?

I think that a gray-market F40 would be better than a salvage title F40. You can buy a perfect F40 for mid-200's here in Germany.

What do you guys think about this F40. It has a salvaged title and is being fixed now. Asking price is mid 200
