I have had a great experience with Eugenio's Ferrari Service in Glendora. I took my car from Fresno down to Eugenio and it was well worth it. You will find a couple of threads on his service here on F-Chat. |

Dom, Lucas @ Ti Amo is a personal aquaintance. He is very good at these older cars. The 308 is really simple too. He has been in the business since before I owned my first Ferrari. I have watched him work and have another F friend trained by him who is very good. |

Dom, F.A.I. in Costa Mesa, I feel is the best independent. Talk to the owner Rod Drew. I own Newport Autosport in Newport Beach, and ALL my cars (out of warranty) I take there!!!!! O.C. FERRARI is also very good. If you have ANY questions, please feel free to call me. ARMEN (949)574-5600 |

Yep, home of the marconi museum. Believe it or not, I haven't been there yet. I'm dying to go though, and am talking with a couple of co-workers about a possible lunchtime visit (they are not open on weekends). Re: Service I really prefer to find someone in orange county. It can be a real pain to drop off your car in LA (have to arrange for wife and baby to pick me up., etc.). With traffic, the trip to LA can be 1.5 hrs each way. I can do some stuff myself like changing the oil, or brake pads, but the limiting factor is time. I don't have that much available time due to work and family stuff. Since I don't do these things often, it usually means I do them slowly, requiring even more time. Nonetheless, it would be nice to be able to do some of the maintenance on my new toy myself. Dom |

Dom: You're in Tustin????? I was just there. BTW, ask Matt Lemus. He lives just north of LA and might have some hints. Or DIY. With a name like Vitarella, you should do just fine. As for me, I guess you can imagine a Viking under an Italian car. Usually results in war. |

SO now that I'm getting a 'GT4, I was hoping someone had some recommendations for good independent mechanics in Orange County, CA. I've heard of Ti Amo motors in newport beach, are they any good? Thanks, Dom |
