Frank, when I painted my basement (the F1 Lounge), I used a school-bus yellow on the walls. We were going to use a deep red for certain highlights, and the test strip I did immediately gave the McDonald's look, so I painted over it. But the yellow on the walls looks great, especially if you're going to hang any automotive artwork on it.

Jay I never thought of that! Golden Arches! I could subsidize my passion selling Big Macs.
I know it sounds kindda stupid thinking about the garage, but it will house the finest automobile in the world, so I want it to be special. Black walls may be a problem with my wife. I may have to go with red floor and white walls.

Red floor and yellow walls? Golden arches! :-) I like the red floor with black walls idea. Or grey floor with white walls, then you can stencil a prancing horse on the wall.

what colors have you used in your garage. I am looking to paint the floor red and wall possibly yellow but I can't find the color code. Anyone have other suggestions. Obviously my wife wants it to match.
