What ever you get -- drive it. Everyone I have met who does not drive very often is continually working on them. The people who drive all the time are loving life they just seem to keep going happily. The rear deck/spoiler is low and it painted the color of the car. A hit on the bottom rear spoiler and a repaint there is not unusual. Most times comes from backing up in a sidewalk or high parking barrier -- unlike the Forza guide I would not discount a car for repair and repaint in that area. If you are driving the car regularly such minor things are bound to happen. I would go with a 89 or 90 because F worked out most major bugs by then. Very Good to excellent condition 89 - 90 around 65 - 74K depending on mileage, records and what the PPI finds needs to be done to it. A 92 512Tr could probably be found at a bargain these days. Definately a better track car. I am coming to think that getting a car that needs a service 15K or 30K, discounting the price for the purchase and doing the service yourself will at least give you assurance everything was the done the way you want it. |
