The Spyders IMHO have a bit of cowl shake (which they are working on) but the coupes are very tight. Anything on the PCH esp. a Spyder is very special. Even though I didn't think I would I love the CambioCorsa paddle shift, it's much improved and the improvements are going into the new Ferrari FI shifters.

Hmmm. Haven't driven one yet, but will be out on the west coast for new years and reserved a manual spyder for the week. If the weather stays dry i hope to put it thru the paces on the PCH up near Big Sur.

Joseph
Very pretty 355 BTW.
Last night while exercising I was watching Speed where the head of the Calif. Highway Patrol was talking about ending pursuits by "electronic" means. Strange Days...
They also replaced the seat track which was making a funky noise. Your point about warranty cost is a good one. In light of this marques previous record I don't think they had any choice but to make it that long.So far they do seem to want to get it right and the car is very beautifully finished. It's also interesting that of all the sports cars I've owned this is the only one my wife likes to ride in for more than 10 minutes and even wants to drive it which with the auto mode she can. (My daughter also wants to drive it but as she's only 14 that's not a problem...yet.) She says the back seat is "Way fine"

Glad to read that you got your car back. Must have been fun for WWOC trying to find that loose wire.
Still waiting to see how soon Maserati ends up in the red due to all the warranty claims lasting until the 50,000 mile marker.
James, just think, in a few years they will be able to alter all those software updates with real-world telemetry instead of plugging in some piece of hardware. Brave new world indeed.

I just picked up my new coupe which had immoblized itself afer 300 miles. A wire to the transducer on the columbe that reads the key was loose. While fixing it WWOC installed some new software updates which make the CD player easier to use. It's very interesting how this will enable Ferrari to improve little things and even engine and transmition mapping along the way.
There's more DRAM (memory) in the CD player in my coupe than the vehicle that went to the moon. Brave new world.
Unlike my TR this one does not leak in the rain.
I think this is the first product made by Ferrari that I've owned that didn't.
