That Jag is beautiful. The CLK looks like it was built with the spare body panels of 5-6 different cars. Frankenstein!

DB -- Oh! my mistake What a nice car!

Craig -- You are damn right. It is a Chimaera where my friend Mark told the picture inside the car. There are two more Chimaera (Black and Red) in our group. I was in my 456GT but were miles away behind after crossing the Lion Rock Tunnel as I was the only one without the AutoToll.

Thanks Ming. And it's actually a CL600, not an S500 :-)

Hi DB,

Your 360 spider is amazing too. I reckon a black one is my ultimate dream car. I also saw an AMG S500 (seems to be) outside the garage.

Frankie & Ed -- These nice photos were taken by Mark and one of the picture was taken inside the TVR chasing the Diablo SV (not the Lotus) and the Jag XJ220.

Hi Norman.

Interesting. I see that there's a yellow TVR Griffith in one of the pictures. I think there's also a Lotus Esprit or may be it's a Diablo; can't tell from that far.

Hi Norman and Ming!

Man! Every Sunday with cars like that! What a blast you guys must have. I live on an Island much bigger than HK and I still can't find enough
super-cars for a fun run going up the Island (I live in South Vancouver Island).

Great pics too guys! Please post more!

I almost bought a Jag XJ220, until i looked at it upclose. The interior looked like it was out of a 82 Ford Escort, and then the dealer couldnt get the car to start. It looks great from far, but far from good.

Could you imagine getting in a TR or a 360 or a Diablo (mmmmm, Diablo) and flying down the freeway, chasing that Jag or the Jag chasing you...? (They'd never catch me...)
How do you guys resist taking those things on the highway and blowing by everybody...? Or do you do that...?

No Worry Amar, most of the buildings in London are 50+ years old and they should be fine for years to come.

Just let your car screams outside Central London!

Ming, it is in the underground garage of my building which makes me nervous once in a while - garage is right next to the river and slightly below the water line... those walls better be strong! Keeping a Ferrari on the street is a no-no here, there are too many sickos around whose happiness in life comes from keying nice cars.

Happy driving Ming!

Hi Amar,

I am sure you must have a nice indoor parking space or garage near Tower Bridge as off street parking in London drove me crazy when we stated in Queen's Gate Garden.

The photos were taken at "Look Gang" near TaiPo in New Territories. We might arrange a Track Day in China with our own cars on next Feb.

Nice photos Ming, brings back memories of the last trip to HK when 2 Ferraris passed us at some ridiculous speed on a winding road somewhere between Aberdeen and Repulse Bay I think - must have been your gang?! BTW where were these photos taken?

Do you go over to mainland China and is there any interesting driving there?

Mmmm, with those costs I think I should reconsider :-)

I'll stick to my studying I guess and wait until the time is ripe to buy and listen to my own Ferrari :-)

I'll try to keep the fun on the karting/soccer side until that time.
Never knew costs were that high in HK. Well I only heared about food-prices, the geography classes never mentioned Ferrari or housing prices :-)

Hi Bart,

Playing soccer and kart are fun too! You just can't compare orange with apple. There are also lots of bikers around with their lovely 1000-1500cc BMW and Harley motorcycles.

Also, you might have to reconsider moving to HK as we paid US$290-300K including tax for a brand new 360 hardtop and spider and US$350k for new M456GT. You have to pay US$3k for a 800 square feet apartment monthly. Although I could find US$1.50 lunch box right beside the fast food shop beside my office.

Woow it must be a great feeling, every sunday to get up and hear the beautifull sounds of Ferrari's and Porsche's. Every Sunday Morning !

All I do is play soccer on Sunday mornings and listen to the sound of a 340cc kart.
Maybe I should move to Hong Kong :-)

Hi Bart,

There were two 360 spiders (Yellow and Red), one 348, one 355 and my 456GT in our group yesterday.
Normally about 10-20 other F-cars were around.

Hi Norman,

I was there as well and Frankie, there are only 25 CLK-GTR were built and there were three of them in Hong kong.
It should be in General discussion after seeing other pictures!

http://www.986host.com/albums/smd0600/x220.jpg
http://www.986host.com/albums/smd0600/GTR_CLK.jpg

Could you maybe post some pictures of the group gatherings ? Especially those with the Ferrari's in it :-).

And Frankie is right, non Ferrari related posts should go to the Off Topic, but no offence though.
Great first post, nice cars, love the CLK-GTR.

Hi All, This is my first post on this board. Ususally we have group gatherings every Sunday Morning. The group consists of mostly Ferraris and Porsches. However, this past weekend there were these 2 most unusual cars showed up. Simply amazing! Not sure how to upload the images, so I posted the link here. Enjoy!!
