Thanks everyone. When I have some free time, I will hike up to that part of Manhattan and see if the building is still there and post some pics. |

I am just reaing the book from Brock Yates about Ferrari (Highly recommended and very critical!) and there he says that Chinetti moved his shop very often from one location to another in New York. This may have occured in the very beginning when he came to the US though. Con saluti cordialissimi, Jens Haller |

Sardi's...quite a few of the '50s Ferrari drivers were members of the Madison Avenue Sports Car Driving and Chowder Society. If I remember correctly, lunch on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. |

I thought that I have seen an ad in FORZA for a picture of the old building. Could someone look through an old issue and look for the ad and see if it gives a street address? Thanks. If anybody known of any other Ferrari related sites in NYC, please let me know. |

Okay, I've got to go so I'll just spill everything I know. Chinetti's original dealer was locted on Manhattan's west side. I don't know the exact address. In the 1960's, he moved the dealership to Greenwich, CT at the following address: 600 W. Putnam Ave. Greenwich, CT 06830 (203) 869-2911 There is now an office complex where that dealership stood. Chinetti had another building up the street at 342 W. Putnam that is now the site of Miller Motorcars. I don't know how any of that info will help you find the original address, but I wish you luck. Please share if you are successful in your search. |

Don't have the NYC address but I have the later one in Greenwich, CT if you're interested. (It's now "Miller Motorcars!") (Almost.) |
