SRA, Threads are big, M16 x 2.0. You'll have to make it yourself. If I could have purchased them from an industrial supplier I would have while we were running 348 Challenge. Ferrari's tow hook is a very nice forged part. I think the best you will find industially is a hot or cold formed open eye with the wrong threads. Even if you make an addapter, an open end eye is not strong enough to pull the car if it gets "jerked". If you find a forged lifting eye, chances are the shank is too short. That could be made to work by a fabrication shop. I think the length of the shank is about four inches before the eye. Call OMP, they may still have the tow hook supplied in 348 Challenge kits. They did, however, make the first batch with fine tread, not coarse as it should be. Make sure it is 2.0 mm pitch, not 1.5 mm. |

SRA, i checked sodacom's website and ferrariparts.com and couldn't find anything... (i think ferrariparts.com is more of a tubi-type place with things of a similar nature- no cup holders, if you know what i mean...) If you go to places like www.napaautoparts.com or www.carparts.com or www.caraccessories.com or www.autoparts.com they give you the option to select a model, make & year but Ferrari isn't one of the choices, so you really can't get anywhere with those sites... i'm sure someone here must know... |
