I called everyone and not body had one, so I got a regular lic. plate cover, put the lic plate in it and drilled two holes at the top two corner. Looks great. of course my lic. plate holder is the US grand Prix one that was sold at the track last year. It's black. looks great. |

Try www.italiancarparts.com I'm pretty sure they carry plate frames. Good luck |

Randy, as on my 308 GTS their is a special license plate frame that has holes drilled in it that match up with the holes in your back panel. When you find that frame lay the license plate in it and drill out the holes where they are on the frame. Then assemble to the back panel. I'm not sure who sells the frames. Maybe some of the other guys can help. |

Okay, I'm a dead give-away for a proud new Ferrari owner ('81 308 GTSi)...but have a dumb question. The last owner had his back license plate dangling on one screw (hung off-centered) and didn't bother to convert or adapt to US. Besides drilling more holes, what is the best way to convert/adapt my US plate. Raleigh, NC doesn't see too many prancing horses, so no shop has an answer for me...not even Foreign Cars Italia. I have 30 days to come up with a solution, or use the same screw. Help! ...More dumb questions to come. Randy |
