There's Orange and then there's orange, as I think Bob Snows piucture shows,in metallic and of the right shade it can look awesome, if flat and not far from rosso it can look awfull! |

Back to the topic at hand an ORANGE 360 (Rosso Dino to be exact)....I took these pics TODAY....so they are fresh, and NOT adjusted for TV ;) I have pics of the Lambo Orange and the MOMO cars too..but that's a beast of another species.
Here is another pic of the 360CH that is pic'd below, just to further confuse everyone.
Enough? -Ben |

I've seen that Lambo color in person on one of only 2 MOMO edition Diablos in the US. Pretty nice. (looks like my slightly less exotic car, heh.) Best! Ben. |

I don't like the dark red, but the orange could grow on ya. I would stick to red or yellow if I were buying one |

Mmmmmmmmm, Diablo... Wayne, that link leads to a VERY nice colored Modena- is that the same color as that Lamborghini you posted, Rosso Vic...? It looks darker... Extremely nice color... Definitely very exotic... |

Yes, Ferrari has a similar color... Rosso Fiorano. In fact, I was looking at a 360 with it just today... at Ferrari of Dallas... if I didn't have another car in a very similar color, it might be my top choice for my next Ferrari.

Yeah thats the color! Man that look so good. Almost makes you want to lick the car. LOL, I wonder if it smells like cherry. Just kidding. Doesn't Ferrari have a similar color? |

Ernie, never seen it on an F-car. Apparently it's a limited-edition Lambo color:

Have any of you guys heard of "Rosso Vic"? It is supposed to be a metalic red. Really exotic looking. |

I think the Dino Orange looks great. I've never seen a Dino in orange but I saw a 308 in Dino Orange years ago and it looked really good. The 360 at the top here looks awesome. |

My camera does have a VERY SLIGHT color shift, that first pic was not "auto leveled" in PS, this one was. Just to give you an alternate pose (notice the Rosso Corsa - Ferrari RED cars in the backround for comparason). Unfortunately there wasn't a red car right next to it for a side by side shot, but this will give you more of an idea. Also pls keep in mind when these pics were taken the morning fog had NOT yet burned off, I think this color would show better when the sun hits it. Still very distinct even under fog. -Ben

Paul, >I assume you saw this car in the flesh. Yes. Touched it too... >Does the scan duplicate the actual color of the car or is it slightly different? It's pretty close, if not adjust your monitor accordingly ;) >Also, can you confirm that it is indeed painted rosso dino? YEP. -Ben |

Paul, it is exactly as it appears in the photo below. Not my favorite color on this particular car but at least it's not red. |

Paul, do it for you... Personally, i think it looks nice- definitely different from everything else i've seen out there; i don't think i would do it, though, 'cause i have too many other color schemes i'd like to go with first... If you like it, though, you should definitely go with it... & congratulations on being able to get one- keep us posted on yourn decision... |

Ben, I assume you saw this car in the flesh. Does the scan duplicate the actual color of the car or is it slightly different? Also, can you confirm that it is indeed painted rosso dino? If it is accurate, I definitely want it! Orange is my favorite color, it is very soothing to the mind of a lunatic, you know.... Thanks guys, for any and all responses. Paul |

If I am not mistaken, the orange on the 360 Challenge pictured is in fact a Lambo color called "Arancio Atlas"; it is orange metallic with a little bit of pearl. |

Ben, I don't think the Challenge car is Rosso Dino either. It had a lot more of a copper tone to it and is probably not a standard color. |

The 360 in the pic that Bob Snow posted looks more 'gold',I do NOT think that is Rosso Dino. Here is the Rosso Dino 360 at Last years CI (the sun was not shinning on it). It's almost Home Depot orange, very unique... I would definately say that the color has to grow on you, I actually do like it...especially more so than some other unique colors. -Ben

Paul, The 360 I saw in the factory did not have the colour of the pictured car, I think. It wasnt looking metallic, it was more than a basic orange which was darker than this. Most probably no colour which you could order from their options with a special name. I think it was a custom colour specially mixed for the client. Con saluti cordialissimi, Jens Haller |

paul - get whatever color you want on your car. life is too short to not have your toys exactly the way you want them. that pic looks a lot like the current lambo orange, that i've seen in the flesh on a murcie. i'm a big fan of orange. i wanted to repaint my 996TT BMW Techno Violet. and let's not get me started on yellow ;-) relative to the cost of a 360, a first class paint job is not that expensive. if you carefully document a repaint back to a "standard" (BORING!) color prior to resale it won't hurt you that much IMO (yes, some silly buyers will be silly about it, but rational people will be rational). doody! |

Paul, Yea, screw what others say about resale and value, blah, blah, blah. I think the challenge car shown looks great, and if you can afford a Stradale car, you should get what you want. |

Paul, if I were you I'd do it. I don't think that it will hurt you that bad when you already can afford a Stradale. In my eyes it's just beautifull, eventhough it's more of a Viper colour then a Ferrari colour. I love it but Orange is kind of my country (NL)colour so maybe I'm prejudiced (sp?). -Bart |

Paul, Amar and me saw one orange 360 at the factory tour after the F1 presentation at Maranello this year. I thought that the car was not yet painted because I couldnt think that someone orders such a colour... Anyway its your decision and money so if you like it go for it but its pretty sure that its hard to find someone who wants to buy a car with that colour if you want to resell it. Same with the white Ferraris: I would say it depreciates the value quite a bit. Con saluti cordialissimi, Jens Haller |

Paul, Go for what you like if you plan on keeping it, but a non-traditional color will hurt you (remember, it's not can hurt you.. it is WILL hurt you) a lot on a resale. ---- John BTW, could only find one picture of rosso dino.... it looks rather blah in this http://www.motorcargallery.net/car17_0.html As far as orange colors go, Lambo does a nice metallic burnt orange, but the Lambo crowd likes wild... tough sell on a Ferrari |

Have any of you guys seen this car in the flesh? I have heard that there is one in the USA. Is it truly orange or is it more of a reddish-orange? I believe the actual color is called rosso dino. I am considering ordering a Stradale in this shade. Bad idea? Thanks guys, Paul |
