Matt,
1) re: faye--yes
2)I would appreciate your sending me the 575M owner's manual and while you are at it please include an Enzo manual as well.
Smarty Marty
PS and the article in January '03 Cavalino on the 575M and some touch up paint for the chips you created and finally $200 k so I can buy the car without having to sell the 360.

Martin:
Compared with your 360, you'll find longer throttle travel, slightly slower steering, significantly more power (faster, not necessarily "quicker") and in general a less frenetic, high-strung experience. I'm comparing to a late '01 550 with no mufflers and Tubi filters, which seems substantially similar to the 575M in performance, if not a little faster due to being 175lbs lighter.
Unlike your (GORGEOUS) Modena, a good running 550/575 will snap the tires loose in third gear, and hit much harder over about 100mph. Stock is much, much quieter than your 360 was stock, that's why I removed the center and rear mufflers. Why not get both?? Cannot overstate how magnificent your 360 looks!

Martin, I came out of a 355F1 to the 575M. Bought the 575M new and with the F1 tranny. I like the car a lot. It does not drive as "big" as it looks. Trying to describe the differences between the 355 and 575, I'd say the 355 is more a "go-cart" and the 575 more a "GT" car. They both provide a satisfying drive in their own unique way. Blowing my own horn, my purchasing experience will be in an upcoming issue of Prancing Horse. I wish I could compare the Enzo to both of these cars.

martin - i think he's probably referring to the new Carrozzeria Scaglietti section of the FOS for the 575M. i'd paste the url, but it sure doesn't look like that'd work :-)

* log in
* click on the third item in the list of red text * over on the right you'll see links to a few PDFs re: the 575M

Marty,
Head over to the owners site....there are a bunch of PDF brochures on the the 575....They show all the options/internal/external that the car has. There is a gorgeous 250 style aluminium front grill that can be added....It must be a new option because I have never seen it listed anywhere, and I have never seen a car with it on.....It really adds to the front end looks.

I'm getting the itch!
1)what did you come out of to go into the 575?
2)did you buy it new or used? If used what did you pay?(I've seen 2 in the last few days with a few miles on it with 15 to 20K off msrp)
3)6spd or f1 tranny?
What is your experience with the car: likes vs any dislikes?
TIA
