I don't dislike it and actually like it because it's different and was a factory option... rarity.

Oh my God he put the spoiler on it. I think the black lower body off sets the other black trim on the car. However I like the car as orig. It probably is a nice car.

Hi,

I was looking through the "Original Ferrari V8" book by Keith Bluemel and it indicates on page 43 that the "Boxer" color scheme was an option from 1975-1982.

When I was looking for my 308 I saw a 1980 with same exact color combo/boxer package. I like the normal more, but it is a nice change of pace with the boxer trim, something unique.

Hi Back, After reading everyones comments, no dark secrets here and Im not calling anyone an idiot. I purchased the car about two years ago in San Jose CA. The car has been repainted, but the boxer trim was an optional factory item. Ive seen early photos of 308 parked in front of the factory with this paint scheme. I know everyone argues about it but I tell everyone, dont like the boxer trim, repaint it. Yes, the car has after market mirrors but I do have the original oval pair (driver & passenger) for it. I forgot to mention in my ad, the QV rear spoiler seen in the picture has been replaced with a new black spoiler with texture. Ferrari began making the GTS version in 1977 which all GTS were steel bodies. Bottom line here, if a person what a 308 in great shape and its their first Ferrari, consider it, if you dont like it, there are others. There is a buyer for everything. But I think the price is right for what the person will be getting. If you need additional information, please email me and Ill get you more photos and answer any questions. Thx again, everyone for reading my ad.

Maybe its not all bad if its been repainted. Some people may just want to see red mirrors on the car. My biggest concerns with painting would be the rust, if any, was it fixed properly and how the services have been done, by whom, when the next one is due. Looks like a nice car from the pics and certainly amongst the SEA of 308's the boxer trim will make it stand out. I never realized the gts was built in 77. I thought 78 was the first year?

Anybody know if '77 308s came in boxer trim or has this car been repainted? The QV spolier is painted red and so are the side mirrors, which gives me the impresion that the car was repainted for some reason.

Are there any secrets, like anything a potential buyer would need to know?

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know of someone who is looking for their first Ferrari 308 purchase? Im selling my 77 308 GTS for a steel. Im asking $25,500 and it has 30K miles. Ive marketed the price below its market value for a fast sell. I had the car for two years now, and Ive recently purchased a 328, moving up of course, and no room for two cars. Ive posted the car on FerrariAds.com or see my profile. Please Let me know if you and any of your friends would like to own it. Thx
