Rob, ask on Roadfly.org or is it (roadfly.net?) They might like to chime in on what exactly is up as well. Wow, I turn to German when all else fails. I would go italian, but snow and Mid-engines dont go well together. :p Hope everything works well for you and your car family. That said, when people ask why you are driving a f-car around so much, you have a funny story to tell. |

Rob BMWs are allergic to auto car-wash. It seems the DME box fills up with water and then the car dies. Wash your own cars from now on and the problem will go away. |

That's hilarious, Rob... I feel the same way... my daily driver is the 348 CH ... sometimes, those German cars just like to act up. |

Driving the BMW 325is home last night stopped, filled up and then went through the car wash. Came out of the wash and the car ran really rough and then died. Let it set a second, restarted and realized it wasn't hitting on all cylinders. Limped it to a parking place and called home for a ride. Today driving the reliable Ferrari. Thank goodness I have an Italian car in the family for when my German and Japanese cars break down. |
