Thanks for the tip on the low mileage cars. They have a fairly substantial service history on this particular vehicle and the mileage and service dates seem to jive. The year to year mileage seems pretty consistent with no big gaps that might indicate a "loose" odometer cable. I'm happy to hear their service is up to par and the fact that you've made multiple purchases means they've done well enough to get you back again. I appreciate your input.

I have bought several Ferraris form LFSC. Their service is great. But be careful of low mileage cars. It is very easy to disconnect the odometer on a Ferrari, and as a dealer, they don't want to know the true story. I have also found this true of another Ferrari dealer. My impression is that, since it is a State law to ask the mileage, that dealers, and I mean ANY dealers, don't question the mileage on a trade-in. Remember, they are giving wholesale value, and that means that they have a lot to play with.

Has anyone had any dealings with Lake Forest Sports Cars in Lake Forest, Illinois? I know they're an authorized Ferrari dealer but that's about it. I'm looking at a used F-car there and I'd appreciate hearing about anyone's purchase or service experiences with them.
