Lee: Though there's no "Ferrari Club" specifically for East Tennessee, we do have a very active Tennessee Chapter that has frequent events in Nashville and Memphis and has also held them in Chattanooga.

Check out www.fca-se.com and email your Tennessee rep via the link on the home page and get plugged in!

Lee,

Guess what? Although the oldest production model your 308 is the most beautiful car on those pictures! :-)
Congratulations and lots of fun with the car!

Tonight my wife and I finally had our first date in our Ferrari, a black/black '79 308 GTS. I bought the car early last month, and it was due a timing belt change, so I immediately tore it apart in my basement (yes, I'm crazy), and just finished reassembly this week.

Locally in East Tennessee, we don't have a Ferrari club. As far as I know, we only have maybe a dozen f-cars on this end of the state. So, I went to a cruise and party with the local Corvette club. They definately didn't mind a little Italian car in their midst. The car drove about a hundred miles today. It was my first long drive, and I loved it! A Ferrari is everything I hoped for! I love the sound of the engine, carbs hissing, right behind me. Here are a couple of pics...
