Lee: Though there's no "Ferrari Club" specifically for East Tennessee, we do have a very active Tennessee Chapter that has frequent events in Nashville and Memphis and has also held them in Chattanooga. Check out www.fca-se.com and email your Tennessee rep via the link on the home page and get plugged in!

Tonight my wife and I finally had our first date in our Ferrari, a black/black '79 308 GTS. I bought the car early last month, and it was due a timing belt change, so I immediately tore it apart in my basement (yes, I'm crazy), and just finished reassembly this week. Locally in East Tennessee, we don't have a Ferrari club. As far as I know, we only have maybe a dozen f-cars on this end of the state. So, I went to a cruise and party with the local Corvette club. They definately didn't mind a little Italian car in their midst. The car drove about a hundred miles today. It was my first long drive, and I loved it! A Ferrari is everything I hoped for! I love the sound of the engine, carbs hissing, right behind me. Here are a couple of pics...
