Steve, Start your own business. Work 18 hour/days (you won't mind because it's your company). Oh, don't forget the school thing too. It just takes a little time and PERSISTENCE! Keep Dreaming - It will happen! |

I think wm hart hit the nail on the head, so to speak. Hence my frantic struggle to gather funds for my first f-car. It's not about the car, it's about the length. -R |

Study hard, get good grades, a good degree and get working, and start saving. I owned my first F-car (308GT4) when I was 26 and I've now progressed to a 360. Its just a question of how much you value your passion as - if Ferrari's are it, then its quite possible to have one on a *normal* salary. Good luck - and keep all those car magazines. I've still got most of mine from when I was 15 (to the eternal consternation of my wife). |

I have been on "the list" for a new spider for over a year. Dealer thinks minimum two to three more years to wait. Imagine how long the wait would be in a great economy. |

Steve, for what its worth, I think the time frame does vary. You could be on a "list" anbd have to wait several months or you could get lucky and be at the right place at the right time and get one right away. I have seen and heard of many timeframes. As for myself, I have been on a "list" for a 360 for over 2 years with one of the F Dealers here and never heard from them. Keep in mind they don't have any deposit; they didn't ask for any. I currently own a 360 anyway without them. |

I have been reading on sites over the web about how long it takes for a Ferrari to be completed and ready to be picked up. Many sites say 2 years, others say 1. I know there are many Ferrari owners here can someone please tell me? Steve. |
