Agreed... it is incredible. I always search for wrecks but in Exotics they are few and far between.

It wont be a history car, but who cares about that, that F40 is as good as any. Not original and it will never cost as much as an original one but it sure will be nice in my garage, if I ever have the chance like he did I would buy me a crusher F40 anytime.

Mitchel ( Hitler is a pig ) ~ This is just
a follow up to a thread in the O/T section
that was started by WOLFE. WOLFE supports several ideas that are slightly "beyond" what
is considered normal.

I dress up in my little black uniform
at night and put on my arm band with
the Iron Cross 2nd Class on my chest
and look in the mirror.

It was an F40, actually.

The owner's on this site too. Check out the following thread for a rather lengthy discussion of the car:

Thinking about the restoration thread and reading the story in FORZA about the fellow that bought a burned F50 raised certain questions. The engine was replaced with a NOS one and the frame was modified to fit his size better. The Bodywork was not factory but was made from molds taken off of a friends car. I seem to recall a few other changes also but not sure what. He admitted that he went with the LM comfigration due to cost factors and certain things he liked about the LM ( lower engine mounting and CG). The question that comes to mind is where this car fits in. It is not like the P4 that is a full correct restore of a racing Ferrari. This was a street car that has been given aftermarket racing details. Is it cool.. Yes. But where will it fit in the history? It is not a real LM and no longer a street F50. Will it be like the aftermarket Boxers and Testarossa's Konig did in the 80's?
