Actually, you can. But the conversion rate means you only get the third.

Hmmm...the truth comes out. Either Frenchie and Fangio have differing opinions on your driving, or you've been holding back...

Nika, that looks more like you told him he CAN'T go for a ride. Fangio--I love it. My last retriever was named Niki. But that was before Lauda was the ogre he is now.

I have yet to try to fit my little dogs in my GTB...
Katie Bear is my Rottie, and Big Bear is my Mastif...
I notice more head turns when I drive the Rover with the Bears riding along, than with the Ferrari.
By the way, Big Bear is 223lbs.

What can I say Aaron? My driving instills fear in both man & beast!

Here is my other beast FANGIO.......It's the look he gives when I ask if he wants to go for a ride..

Fangio

Is that a tear in his eye???????

The look of terror on my Frenchie's face is not because of my driving!!

I normally just throw down a big beach towel or blanket - seems to do OK - that and we always keep his claws well trimmed!!

It's the other pointy end you have to watch out for!!

Aaron--love that pic. I'm already getting a hard time from my girlfriend about driving around with the dog. Any problems with the leather? I don't see a seat cover--do you throw something down to pad the claws?

Aaron - That is a great pic! I've got two rotties that guard my yard in Bridgeport, CT. It's not a very good area, but they make it safer. You have got the ultimate security system for your Ferrari. Thanks for posting that shot!

My little doggie loves it!

Funny thing, when I brought the car home, my wife and daughter were upset that there were only 2 seats. I explained that I had all I needed - room for me and the dog!!

There is a 456 owner locally with 2 BIG dogs that usually live in the back seat, I say usually cause they don't always stay there. I guess he's not saving the car for anyone else. No idea if he has any 'protection' in place, only saw the car and the dogs in it.

My father in law's dog ate the back seat of his Lincoln. I myself would worry about a Ferrari.

Check out the scene in the movie "Against all odds" It shows James Woods driving around in his black 308 with a big white dog.

Back in the 80's i had an Alaskan Malamute {big dog}. First time i was washing my Fiat X1/9 she hopped in an made it clear she was not leaving til we went around the block at least. This became a weekly event an no problems.

I agree with you. I love dogs and why not take her along for the ride. I had a Golden about 5 years ago and she was great. Very well behaved. I would put a seat cover over the seat or a soft blanket. My Chow Chow would love to get into my previous Lotus Esprit. She loved the seats in that car. I am glad to read that there are other dog lovers out there who treat their dogs like part of the family.

Question for you fellow owners. Have any of you that are dog lovers dog-proofed your Ferraris? I have a golden retriever who loves to ride shotgun, but when my 328 comes, I'm afraid it might maker her the odd one out. Just curious if anyone out there has tried the belt harness along with a seat cover. She's really well-behaved, so climbing and scratching isn't a concern. Any ideas, or am I just talking "stupid talk" now?
