Contact Byron to get you the contact to Roland Linder. He is a pro driver and goes all over the country to tracks and is a pro driving instructor. very nice guy on top. Had a blast with him in LA and Vegas.
Nika may be able to help you out as well. If you want I ask her if its okay to pass her e-mail address along to you.

Jason, will you be producing?

I have a database of/ connections with/ about 65 professional driver - insructors here in North America. Some are champions, some will be.

Email me when you have time. Interesting.

Best regards,

Rob

Thats not a bad idea because tracks like PIR might not sell well and Laguna Seca would sell great. I have to find good drivers that would be willing to do a video for their home track when they are at a track day this summer. Thanks for your imput.

That could be really cool. But I wouldn't make one DVD per track... too low a market. Rather,
put all the tracks you can fit per DVD... perhaps one for the eastern US and one for the western?

You could even use some of the fancy DVD features, making car sounds and/or commentary on or off, making alternate views (one being an outside view, one a top view, and one a chalk talk view) that can be turned on with the main cockpit view.

Done right, I could see it selling well.

I don't know if you are familiar with an edition of books produced by Frommers. My wife buys them everytime we go to a new city. What it is, is a book written by someone who visits the city. They add a map and points of interest. It gives you a good idea of the city before you go and while you are there. I got an idea from this. I would like find a bunch of Driving Instructors or really good race car drivers to do a similiar package for race tracks around the US. This will be a DVD that is narrated by the instructor, and with their in car camera, the viewer will be able to get to know Laguna Seca or Sears Point before they get there. I would like to get some feedback on this and would like to hear from interested drivers. Thank you for your time.
