Please note that Ferrari still made the 348 Spider when they were also building the F355 Berlinetta and F355 GTS. When the F355 Spider arrived, they stopped with the 348 Spider.
F355s have serialnumbers starting from (approximately) s/n 98674. |

I know of an early US model 1995 F355 with a VIN of 099949. |

Is your complete VIN ZFFUA43B000099659?
This is correct for a Euro 348 Spider. See my website: http://www.red-headed.com/vin.html.
What does Keith Bluemel's book say about the serialnumber of the last 348 Spider?? I don't have it at home right now .... Anyway, as far as I know the last VIN of a 348 Spider is between 99935 (confirmed as 348 Spider) and 99947 (probably last 348 made). I hope this helps a little bit .....

Still would like to know what the last VIN produced was. My Spider ends 99659 and was registered in Germany 30/06/94. |

I think r is right, not sure about k or U, sounds like a diff model , doesn't the forth digit refer to model. I.e u is normally 308 four valve? |

Ive just been futher researching my VIN number and noticed that the fourth digit on all 348 spiders ive seen (mainly in the US)is a K or R .... Mine is a U ,anyone know if this is correct on a euro model ?? |

Mine is VIN # 99707. I will check the production month when I get home. I know it was sold for the first time in June 1995. |

it should tell you on the Vin Plate as to when the production montha nd year or the car was!
98222 was a 1994, I believe it was a October 1994 |

Anyone know what the last VIN number producted for 348s was ,in particular Spiders.
Also my Spiders VIN ends 99659 anyone know if this is a 95 or 94 model, its currently registered as 94.
