Wanted to add some info before anyone goes on a wild goose chase. It looks like the 550 is also on E-bay at a dealer in FLA, for $165,000+. Looking at the vin numbers they posted one ends with a 6 and the other ends with a 5 otherwise identical - must be the same car (typo). Also there is a 355 spyder on ebay that seems very similar to the one on yahoo (both in Philly) but the E-bay listing states the car has been repaired/salvage title, while yahoo says nothing about that. Hope no-one wasted too much time on my tip, was just trying to give a heads-up. Stuff like this is why I am reluctant to buy something of that magnitude over the net, I personally only buy cars I can check out myself in person. Again sorry for the misunderstanding |

Just found these over at yahoo auto auctions. Both are out of my price range but seem like a steal for someone who's in the market for one. http://list.auctions.yahoo.com/ You may have to go to "yahoo" first and go through all that free registration junk first to get to the auction page. The 550 is a Yellow 2000, with an opening bid of $90,000 w/ no reserve. And the 355 was lo-miles red and tan opening at $55,000 also listed as no reserve, seems to good to be true. Just thought someone might be interested. |
