Too true Russ.. I think you can double the travel time if you go anytime between 6am and 9pm Big part of the reason why I moved to Florida.... -R |

Must hasten to add, and I am sure Robin and Jeff will agree, the duration of the trip from Alexandria to Sterling is HIGHLY dependant on what time of day you go. best rt |

Ferrari of Washington isn't *that* far away. I just moved from Alexandria..it's maybe 30-40 minutes away from the dealership. The only other places I can think of that could deal with Fcars is Autothority (they do chips for 355s I think), about 20 minutes away in Fairfax, or Pitstop Motorsports, which does some of Autothority's high end work (mostly Porsche). They're right in the center of Alexandria. Pitstop built Autothority's 911TT that got 2nd place in last year's supertuner shootout in Motortrend, so they're pretty damn good. Call Andrew at 703-212-0900... Autothority is a respected tuner and racing shop. Their number is 703-323-6000... -R |

I'm in Alexandria, but just an owner - about 45 minutes away is Grand Touring in Laurel Maryland that I use - excellent with all Ferraris, esp. vintage. 410 880 3020 hth rt |
