There was a chopped model in SCM a few months back. I just checked their online DB and did not see it but their online results are not complete.

Sorry, I just looked at photo of back of my car, and it says cabriolet under mondial on right side. It does not say quattrovalve. Ferrari only offered Mondial cab's starting in '83. These were QV cars with the black bumpers. the bumpers were black, regardless of the body color. although I have seen a number for sale where they were painted the body color.
i have never known of any conversions of a Mondial 8 to a cab.

3.2s and t cabs have a body colored bumper; QVs (originally) have a black bumper regardless of body color.
If it's a cabrio, then it's not a 2 valve 'Mondial8'.

It's in a driveway in IL with FL plates; I just drove by it. My son said he thought it was for sale. Maroon color I think, cabriolet. Had to be a QV or 3.2 from the bumper and side scoop. The back just had the 'Mondial' logo; no 'Quatrovalve' like on the 83-85 or '3.2' like on the 3.2 but I didn't see any holes either. Sweet car!

Ken do you know what year the car was? A Mondial Cab QV will have the prancing horse on the left side, and Mondial on right with quattrovalve under it. Both on back panel.

According to the book, the Mondial 8 logo is all in one, the QV logo is a blank Mondial with quattrovalvole below, the QV cab is a blank Mondial with cabriolet below, the 3.2 is 3.2Mondial and the t is MondialT

I don't have the book handy here at the office but I do recall at least one model having just the Mondial on the rear deck. If I get a chance, I will look it up when I get home.

Even the first edition was the Mondial8. However cabriolet production started in 83 with the Quattrovalve. Probably a repaint an left them off.

Sav a Mondial Cariolet yesterday; wasn't a 'T' but the back just said "Mondial". No "Quatrovallve" or "3.2". No extra holes. Was this car repainted? Are the logos bolted on; didn't see any spare holes.
