Hi Folks: I'm trying to run this issue to ground and can't seem to find anybody with any knowledge. What I would like to know is the following: 1.) Can the Leather Trim Pieces be bought from Ferrari? Miller Motor Cars in CT didn't have it and didn't believe that they could get it. 2.)Does Anybody have a picture of a 308/328 with the leather installed on the rear shelf? (It would be nice to see what it should look like?) Any Help I can get on the matter will be appreciated. Kevin M '87 328 (in the shop for a major tune-up <30k>) Saratoga NY |

I have an 86 328 GTB that had leaky rear quarter window seals at one time. It stained the cloth. Ive also seen many 308s/328s with very ratty/dirty interior cloth. I did a little homework and found out that the cloth can be replaced or changed to leather, but its very difficult. The piece that the cloth covers is riveted in place. The rivets are only accessible from the engine bay and have to be drilled out. I guess many owners, if they decide to bite the bullet, opt for leather. You then have the problem of matching the new leather to the original. My cloth headliner is in mint condition, and so is the overhead light console. Im going to try a fabric cleaner on the stains, and stay with the original cloth. |

If you live near NYC ask miller motorcars about who they use to customize their cars. They use someone in Tuckahoe who can do ANYTHING. |

If you find a set it will be difficult to install. You will need to take out the rear and rear quarter windows with the risk of breaking them. Not impossible, but difficult. If only the color is the problem, you might dye the existing cloth panels. |

Edwin, It was an option, but I don't know if it can be installed after-market. If you go to Ferrari's web site they list all the options for all their cars. |

Hi Does anyone know whether a 1986 328GTS had an option for a leather perimeter around the rear interior window? Does anyone have this or is this an aftermarket item that can be installed?????????? |
