Jim, whats your definition of "trash"? I dont think you want to know mine. Last time i borrowed a friends car i had to hitch a ride back to the party from one of my friends. It was a 91 sentra. I dont know how the axle broke....i guess all the salt in the winter weakened it, it sheared clean off. Then next day after 5 hours of sleep, 4 hours of work, use of my friends compressor and learning as i went a long everything was fixed. Anyway, moral of the story is dont borrow anyones car. Accidents happen and things break unexpectedly. I would just rent one that is insured. |

I like the "nobody will know the difference" line in the ad below. Yeah, right. Everyone will know that you cut a TR in half, never mind the front end that looks like it's from a Suburban. |

Jim Jim!!! If I were to trash a Ferrari, Enzo would turn over in his grave, and would not be smiling when I purchase my first. I have to keep the good man happy! My blood is red for a reason! |

I think $800 for the weekend is a fair price. How do they normally work in the maintainence/repairs into the bill should one arise? |

Oh yah, Here's the keys to my Turbo Ferrari. ( after two shots of red eye, and a kiss and a whisper from the prettiest girl in the room.) Just don't redline it. ....... Right. |

Well, I've got my 308 GTB in Houston, but it's got dirty carpet and the passenger seat has a split. The passenger door can also be a pain to close - just haven't fixed that part yet (don't often have 'visitors' in the car).

I rented a Ferrari for my wedding. It was the best! Convertable Mondial...top down and my wife's veil blowing in the wind. Got the thumbs up and honks all the way to the reception! You won't be disappointed. I paid for the rental with the money I got from my stag! I think it was also about $800 for the week-end. Unfortunately, my car is in pieces and won't be ready for March. Sorry! |

Besides being 4 hours away, I thought he might be going for a nice shinny 355 spider or better. Reminds me of a story I forgot to tell. About a month ago I came home one night after partying (without the wife) and politely asked what she had been up to. Well, the answer was a quick trip to Starbucks in the Ferrari. I thought this was cool, she had only driven it once before and that was with me in an industrial park. I was proud of her confidence. Only rule is she can't pick up guys with it. |

Just to vouch for Jeremy, he drove all the way to Dallas just to watch the F1 race with the Dallas FerrariChat'ers. He's as passionate about Ferrari as all of us other loonies. He does several Ferrari events at the local track and is a member of the Texas FOC. |

I am getting married on March 30th, and due to that fact, as well as buying a house, I have put off getting the Ferrari. I am looking into renting one for our wedding, however the $800+ price tag is shocking!!! Anyone out there willing to bring their Ferrari to Houston for a wedding? I will pay all expenses, and make it worth your time. Anyone????? Jeremy |
