I'm still working out the bugs in the payment processing software/service. I have a shirt vendor picked, I'll put an order in for about 36-50 shirts this week. I received about 20 different suggestions for a vendor to use. I appreciate everyone's help. I plan on offering other stuff besides polo shirts and maybe I can use some of these other companies in the future. For now I just want to start simple though.

More info soon.

Rob,
I'll take a Large. Well, if they are 100% cotton XL, you know shrinkedge. If 50/50 I am back to a large. Then again polo shirts are usually larger to begin with so large will be great. But then again my T-shirts are just right XL. Are they Medium or High quality? You know it all makes a difference? Well, get back with me and I'll decide?

The hell with it, it's Friday night lets have a beer I am buying. ;)

I got my monthly Lands End Corporate catalog yesterday, you can get their shirts for $19.50 plus a one time logo set up charge of $95. I can vouch for the quality, I've got tons of their "corporate" stuff floating around the house.

rob

I think we were just trying to give you a sense of demand, as you know some of us get carried away with our enthusiam for FC. We always know you have great technology solutions and I sure the shirts will be great too. Thanks for all your hard work and dedication

XL for me please...

make sure you print it on good quality shirts. Maybe even embroider them. Costs a little more but lasts, then it is all worth it.

I'm not keeping track of who wants shirts right now. I may come back to this post and get everyone's e-mail to let you know when you can order. Right now I'm developing the credit card processing software. When I have the shopping cart software configured and the shirts on hand, then we can start ordering. Probably later in Feb.

I'm only going to start with a small batch of 36 to 50, but I should be able to order new stock quickly if there's enough demand.

Thanks for the help.

Rob, is it just the logo? Anything else on there? Doesn't matter for me, I'll grab one. Make it... err... medium. I'm not such a big fella.

Rob,
Try Larry Emmons at Emmons Coachworks, 1-800-NOW4WAX. He is a great guy and very supportive of FCA and other club events. I am sure he will have a booth at Cavallino Classic.

Cool Rob. Tell us the progress, and when you figure out the costs, we all can vote on the best price to charge.

Rob,
For a small run of 50 go to the mall like Valley View the T-Shirt shop. They can customize t-shirts and polo type shirts(take your logo with you). More then 100 have shirt companies help maybe a bid process.

I have connections with a company in my town that makes Polo shirts. They make Tommy Hilfiger as well as supplying Blair clothing. I could get a quote if interested.

Bill Pierce's wife over at www.nsxsc.com does this kind of work. You should inquire over there. I believe his email address is [email protected]

What do people think is a good price to charge for a polo shirt with Logo? For me to charge the users I mean. I really don't care much for a profit, since it will be free advertising.

I only know Competition Graphics in Michigan - they used to do the Neon Challenge stuff and Viper Stuff - talk to Zack - tell him I sent you.

A user contacted me last year, but I don't have their e-mail any more. Does anyone own a shirt logo business? I was thinking about 50 polo shirts to start with a FerrariChat.com logo.

Any leads would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Rob
