Most warranties only cover breakdown of the component, that means if the engine has low compression but is still running or is using a lot of oil it is not covered. |

It would depend on what is covered. Read the fine print closely. Many policies have too many clauses that have an "out" for the insurance company. |

I have the option upon purchase of a 1987 328GTS to purchase a 1 year/4000miles classic car powertrain warranty for $750 from j.j. best & Co. The car is receiving it's 30K mile service before I purchase. Any thoughts as to if this is worth the money. |
