Ferrari has a choice of 16 colors right now if I remember correctly. If you check there website, www.ferrarina.com, you will find most of them. Also, they list all the colors that were used on certain cars that are no longer in production, like the 308.

How wonderful to see so many non-conformists out there!

But, just so all the guys (and gals) with red cars don't feel left out, allow me to share a bit of Ferrari trivia. Ever wonder why Ferrari red looks different than other maker's red? The reason is that all Ferraris which are painted red at the factory are first painted yellow (not yellow primer - but actual yellow finish coat), then overcoated red to give that unique tint that is only found in Ferrari red (although some automakers and custom painters have copied this practice). Don't believe it? Keep polishing that Rosso until it fades to orange, then yellow...

So, in an esoteric sense, none of us have a truly 'red' Ferrari.

I saw that gold one. What an unfortunate color. The car was in fairly decent shape from what I could tell. Hopefully someone struck a good deal on it and repainted it to a more tasteful color -- maybe non-red.

Yeah, some colors just don't work. Once at the hospital, a friend and I saw a Doc with his 308 that was painted a color my friend succinctly described as, "bile stain green". You don't have to be an MD to appreciate the revulsion... The owner bragged that he custom ordered that color from the factory. All I could think was that on top of having such a putrid color, he probably paid $5,000 extra for it, too!!

Also, a while back Ron Tonkin Gran Turismo in Portland had a used 308 for sale on their floor -- it was metallic gold -- trust me, you don't want to see that one either...Guess someone thought it was a Lexus or something -- LOL...

I saw a dark green Testarossa in stockholm once. I can accept most colors, but green felt pretty strange on a TR...

Call me biased but my '87-328 Black with Black Leather and red carpets has gotten alot of compliments

Though I must admit I have seen a slate blue 328 and a yellow 308 that have made me turn my head

328 - Blue Sera Metallic

I've seen many 328's but this one absolutely captivates me. The color is so awesome. I'm also avoiding buying a red car because I hope to have a 288 GTO in the stable at some point and then I'll have red covered. I know, dare to dream!

But then, I never thought I'd actually buy a Ferrari in the first place...

My 360M F1 is Yellow. I wanted silver or yellow, and settled on yellow... anything but red really - too much of a cliche now.

Besides, Enzo's true color, as well as the color from his home town of Modena, is yellow... red was used only because that was the assigned color for Italian cars such as Maserati and Alfa Romeo for international races...

Black with Red leather/Black carpets

I will never again buy a black car.

Metalics I find are the best for Ferraris. The shapes are highlighted further.

Not me, Rosso Corsa 308GTSqv, but I really like the 550 and 456 more in black, silver, or blue than in red. I like all the 3 series and special models (288, F40, F50, etc) in red though. The other colors are more classy looking but the red is more racey and is the SF color. Ferraris look good in any color.
