i have a friend that knows someone that can import me a 1999 360 modena F1 and have it certified for 135k wm hart: that might be a big possiblity. when time comes i will get in contact with you. i see nothing wrong at all with the nose of the 360. right now im having a house built and i wont settle till august so i dont want to touch my credit just yet. http://www.silverstorminc.com/home/pics5/ pictures of the house being built if anybody wants to take a look. martin J weiner: you wouldnt recommend getting a euro spec? do most people pay cash? finance or lease? I own my own business so another tax writeoff would be nice. any idea what kind of price i can be looking at in a year from now on a pre-owned? thanks for all the input guys Erick G

There's a yellow Modena at Algar in Phila. Believe it was owned (briefly) by one of their very good customers, so i would not expect it to have been abused. I'm not enamoured of yellow cars myself, but a divorce is probably cheaper (and quicker) than waiting for a factory order. Algar is a reputable dealer; if you haven't visited, i'd be happy to introduce you. (No, i'm not getting anything for plugging them, but i have bought 6 F cars from them in 4+ years, with very few problems, and not one complaint). And while i agree with the difficulty of maintaining a black car, frankly, the 360, to my eyes, might look best in that color because it diminishes the impact of the nose treatment. Also, there is something sinister about black ferraris. |

Welcome Erick, I didn't have the patience (or the time at age 66) to wait so bought a 360 euro.At that time the "used" 360's were 200k and up.I love the car but wouldn't do it that way again.Good luck! |

Erick, If you get a low mileage car off the showroom, the car would still smell new. Prices will still be a bit higher than MSRP if you buy off the lot. But then, you don't have to wait very long. I heard that the 360 coupe production was cut to facilitate spider production. So the waiting period, if you want to order a coupe, would be long. Anyway, welcome aboard. |

Erick, Welcome! You wouldn't want to disrespect the official colors of the great city, Modena, Italy...I believe the color is Yellow! Seriously, any color on the 360 is gorgeous. |

Erick...welcome! Glad to have you "join in". You'll certainly learn a great deal here about the various models -- and there are quite a few 360 owners here as well that would be glad to answer any questions you might have. |

Hi I found this forum about 2 weeks ago I've been lurking around reading alot of very good info about ferrari's Hopefully within the next year or so i will become a proud owner of a 360 F1 Havent decided if i want brand new (i am very impatient) or pre owned I live in Baltimore MD, the closest dealer is FOW and then Philly.. Pre owned prices seem to be coming down a little and that definetly puts a smile on my face BUT then again the smell of a new car and not just any old car would be oh so sweet. My wife forbids me to get it in yellow (what does she know ) she loves the dark red metallic with white leather i love it as well, i dont care too much about color except for black (hard to maintain) if the price is right.. Hopefully i will get to know a few people here and learn as much as possible before i purchase this beauty. thanks again for listening to my little opening rant.. let the fun begin Erick G
