Were these applied to U.S. 308's only? I have a '84 Euro that had a full federalization completed back when it was brought into the country, but my F-car doesn't have that decal. | ||

Paul, You're very welcome. Although the owner's manual indicates the decal mounted on the driver's side lower windshield, the decal is on the left rear quarter window. Perhaps they were affixed by Ferrari in different areas dependent on state of delivery. My car was delivered to Pennsylvania (Algar Ferrari). Pennsylvania requires registration/inspection stickers mounted on the driver's side windshield. Or perhaps the original owner removed the decal from the windshield when the car and decal were new and remounted it. With these early cars, there seems to be some differences from car to car as modifications were made. For example, my headlight assembly differs from that pictured in the owner's manual, making headlamp changing a 2 hour procedure. Barry | ||

Paul -- mine is located on driver's side lower corner of windshield as well ('85 308 QV). I seem to recall stumbling across a source for these (aftermarket / reproduction) not long ago. I'll do some checking and see what I can dig up. Barry provided a very nice pic of one, however. | ||

barry, thanks so much...I'll check with berlinetta...interesting location on your car...I've seen many of them in the lower corner of the drivers side on the windshield..I'm going to look at my car and see if there are any remains of the old decal in the location you mention. thanks again | ||

Paul, On my 1976 308 GTB, the California Exhaust Emission Standards decal is on the inside surface of the left rear quarter window. They mounted the decal there for most US version cars so as not to interfere with registration and inspection stickers. Berlinetta Motors in NY might be a source for reproduction emission decals. does anyone have a good photo or know where one could get the emissions decal that is fitted to the drivers side lower windshield for a '78? |
