Hey Jon, thanks for making an unemployed wall street trader feel a bit better about himself!
Im glad to see you will be coming to lime rock.
Its going to be a bit cramped, as we will have around 80 cars there (70 of them being Fcars).
Getting a clean lap will be close to impossible, but we will have a lot of fun running around together.
For my fellow FC members, if you want a fast ride around Summit Point, Jon is the man there.
(get one, give one)
Everyone should try to make it out to the Lime Rock event, as it is always a great event. Miller Motors does a great job with their sponsorship of the event. Its a good time for all.

Tim and Kenny,

Make sure you wear closed shoes to the event (no sandles). My only requirement is that you wear a nomex suit (I always bring a spare).

If you want the fastest ride around the Glen then Matt K. is the one to talk to. He owns the track record at the Glen for the 355 C (2:06 something). I am a bit slower but you are still welcome to a ride.

Should be some really nice machinery present in our group (Red). Last month there were three 333SP's, an IMSA Group C car, several NASCAR Trucks, and Jeff Ipoletti's Speedvision 355 GT, and a Shelby 350 Fastback, not to mention about a dozen 355 C's and a few 360 C's thrown in.

I am installing race cam to get some good in car video.

Hope to see you guys there.

Regards,

Jon P. Kofod

I'll be there too and i would absolutely love a ride!! i've never been in an F355 before, and what better to have my first ride in than in a challenge!

Kenny, you and i should probably take one car, it would be much easier, maybe bosco wants to drive :-)

Thanks. I'll be signing up for the Glen. Can't do Lime Rock, have the charity event that weekend in the Hamptons. BTW I still have 6 available guest spots for that event. Anyone want to join us?

Adam, are you going to drive the TR at Lime Rock? Very twisty, no banking, short straights, nasty uphill turn on the back-I spun a Formula Dodge there and my shorts still won't come clean. Be careful.

Just booked The Corning Radisson for the Glen, as they still have rooms available at $115 for FCA members. Steve, I booked two rooms.

Jon, would love a ride. :-) I should be there, (I don't see why not). I was in Matt Karson's 355 in the Pocono's. I gotta teach him to drive some time ;).

Adam, yep, I will be driving up. I will helping out Will, but I will be driving up their by myself. I think my Volvo can take you ;). 2600pounds, 200 horsepower, and an insane teenager ate the wheel.

What do you think?

Steven,

To register for the Glen go to http://www.empirestateregion.com/main.htm and register. You can also use the form in the monthly Ferrari newsletter. There are many places to stay at Watkins Glen, Corning, Elmira, and Horseheads.

Kenny and Tim,

Most of the time they allow spectators at the Glen FCA events. When you get to the main gate just sign in and tell them you are here for the FCA event. You can use my name and they should let you in.

If either of you would like a ride let me know ahead of time and I can bring an extra helmet.

Regards,

Steve;

I got a place at Lime Rock at the Inn at Iron Masters. I think a few guy's are staying there. The registration form is in the FCA newsletter. If you do not have it, I could try to fax it to you. Drop me an e-mail with your Fax. I will look for a place at the Glen.

Kenny, you driving up also? Are you crewing for William again?

Tim, I think spectators are not a problem.

Adam, at Lime Rock I usually stay at the Interlaken Inn, pretty nice, and not a lot of other choices up there. Don't know about the Glen, but let me know what u find out since I need a place to stay too.

How do I register for the Glen?

Who is going to these two great events. Lime Rock is Aug 2-4 and the Glen in Labour day W/E. If so, where is everyone staying. I want to book my rooms, but not having gone before do not know what is crappy and what is acceptable.
