A Mercedes cap fits a 328. It looks like the picture. It cost 10 bucks? No wires though. Don't know what is under the ruler in your pix. I purchased a spare MB cap to make a pressure bleeder out of it. It fits my Porsche as well. Don't know about the 308. Worth a thought. |

Was that $65 a pair, or $65 each? If you can loan me a good one for a couple of weeks, I can make a mold and pair of new ones for something like $40 each. Possibly a bit less. If my '82 Euro 308 QV uses the same part, I can use the one from my car. It would be polyurethane which is resistant to most solvents. I could make it either clear, or an opaque cream color. Translucent would require adding dye powder to clear base and would cost $5 additional. How soon would you need them? I'm flat out trying to meet current obligations & get my car on the road by 1 June. Would have time after then, might be able to squeeze it in before.
