Paul S. -- Tony Palladino of Modena Motors did the nice write-up about this modification in Forza: http://www.modena-motors.com/Shop%20Talk%2025.htm but I think there are other areas that should be checked/verified as a lot of thing can contribute to unnecessary clutch pedal "heaviness" on the early design -- e.g.: 1. Is the clutch cable itself moving smoothly/freely in its outer jacket. 2. Is the plastic cable guide wheel in the engine compartment rotating freely/well. 3. Is the throw-out bearing carrier moving smoothly/freely. 4. Are all the linkage points (pedal end and engine end) clean/lubricated. JMOs.

Paul there is a proceedure outlined in the owners manual but I have tried it and it doesn't offer much if anything. I also would like to know if there is anyway to modify it other than what is shown in the owners manual. |

Does anyone have the procedure to lighten clutch on the early 308's that was published in Forza Magazine? it was a modifacation to pivot and spring I believe. |
