Billy, next time you'll drive my car! My Viper is 2002 and has no cats, Corsa and K&N dynoed 437RWHP and 480RWTQ. The car is slower on the second gear and even the Vettes can keep up but the 3rd there is no competition. I raced the same Vette, he has 417RWHP but I took him at the end of 3rd and 4th. The Viper has very tall gearing that makes the car rev at 1K RPM at 80MPH on 6th gear. I'm thinking of changing to 3.55 but don't want to be shifting gears to much on the road track. | ||

Why don't you fit Martin? How tall are you? I am 6ft1" 220lbs and I fit just fine. I agree with you on how they went away from the norm and went retro styling. I personally am not a fan of the 360 or the 550. They are nice cars but too much attention to the wid tunnel shaped it. Lost the beautiful curves that Ferrari once possessed. It almost makes the car look normal IMO. Don't start flaming me now these are just my opinions | ||

I always liked the Viper. Actually always liked Chrysler for going innovative and taking a risk like with the Viper, the Prowler, the PT. They should be commended for going past the usual all-look-the-same-windtunnel-sh*t that is produced now. Unfortunately I do not fit. | ||

Tom, you will have a blast. Not everyone is racing, we go up to Bear Mountain (7 lakes I believe) where there are the best twisties I have ever been on. I just got my car back from R&S, I installed the 6 speed in there. The last time I went for the cruise I took the Lotus and kept up with Diablo to about 150 where he pulled a car or a car and a half in front. But the twisties is where we have the most fun and it is a blast and th guys are all cool | ||

Actually Dave we took off from about 50 mph. I really thought he would get me early on but anyway he did win, no excuses. What do you expectt from a car with double the torque (almost). As for mods I have no cats and tubi as well as the K&N filters so I should be pushing about 400hp. I also lost to a modded C5 vette as well under the same conditions. Kept up with him to about 90 and then he pulled away but not like the Viper. | ||

I say the f-car did pretty well for being 7 years older. How would it stack up versus a early viper??? Yeah Billy, you guys meet like ten min from my house so I will try to come next time. Though it sounds like my 86 mondial won't be able to keep up, oh well it will be fun anyway | ||

So let me get this straight: a car with a 3.5 liter 380 hp normally aspirated, kept up with one with one with a nearly 500 hp 8 liter (!) engine all the way up to 90 MPH? And it took an 8 liter engine, and going past 90 MPH, to finally get by the 3.5 liter engine? LOL! I'd say the Ferrari won that contest, all things considered....  | ||

Tom I don't know what year the Viper was exactly 2000-2002. I have a 95 355. Unfortunately the meet was the same time as the event down in moorestown, you should definitely come to the next meet Tom, you will have fun | ||

Martin I actually did well up to about 80-90mph, kept up neck and neck with him, but then he shifted and just literally ran away from me. Not too bad, I had a great time, and definitely the 355 sounded much better though. I still want to get a viper but after I pick up a diablo in the near future | ||

Well Adam, next time I will add the dual stage wing (I hear it adds 40hp) but vtec stickers (another 20hp) as well as the neon lights. I will be untouchable. Next time I will bring the Testarossa so we can have some real fun. | ||

Adam had a great time today. Loads of fun. I knew I stood no chance but what the hell? It's all in good taste. Do you want me to start with thte excuses? LOL. I was only on half throttle, the AC was running, had the headlights up therefore more drag, etc etc. | ||

Today we had some fun with cars. I got a chance to race 355. The car sounds GREAT but after the second gear it was all over. In third I pulled away and had a few cars on him at 120MPH. One of the fastest cars was 800HP Supra. |
