That guy in the video where you whacked the tow truck was very concerned that you stay in the car! I never heard the SH*T that would've come out of my mouth, nice control! |

Well, it was raining and on the first lap I lost about 10 places when having problems upshifting 2nd to 3rd. I finally resolved just to keep it in 3rd and was playing catch up. Coming into this turn I missed my braking point and once off the pavement, I had no steering or brakes in the wet grass/mud. The sensation feels like you're actually speeding up, but I just wasn't slowing down after leaving the pavement. I was headed right for the driver's door with the driver in there and it was all I could do to steer into the trucks back axel. The truck wasn't even scratched. After the fact I can't blame anyone but myself. I knew there was a yellow flag at this corner, but most of the corners had yellow flags with about 4-5 cars off all over the track. I made the last mistake by pushing 110% and missing the braking point. The SCCA after the fact wished they wouldn't of put the tow truck within the tire barriers. That was the only thing on the entire race course that would hurt if hit. Cars smacked those tires all day long and just drove off. They decided to get the tow truck out of there after I had already lost my race car. Race and learn. |

Make sure to watch the "Summer Heats Debacle" tapes at the bottom, I wasn't racing then, but this wreck totaled 3 cars. The cars that went up the banking all hit the outside wall at a high speed. No one was hurt, but looking at pics afterwards the angles were just like the Earnhardt crash. |

I just added some new videos of me racing the RX7. There's some boring ones of me doing complete laps of different tracks. Also some cool ones, like when I lost my first race car by hitting a tow truck in the rain, or spinning out at 80-90 MPH, or being passed in the grass by a Speedvision World Challenge vette, or doing a 180 spin and almost having a head on at 80 mph. Enjoy! http://www.spec7.org/videos.htm |
