The thing is though you can't just go sour on "people" as I know how easy that is to do. If you don't keep striving to find better employees, you will be stuck in a rut (grow or die!). Without being able to delegate some of our workload, something is going to give! I would't trade any of my employees for ANY others...and this came about after MANY losers/duds/thiefs etc. Get rid of the trash and find new blood.

Thats good advice Fred. Makes me think I need to move forward on some less than perfect people that work for me.

It isn't the people you fire that make your life miserable, it's the people you don't.

This is exactly why I work for myself and have NO employees. If something gets up I know exactly who did it and I know that I will show up for work and do my best every day.

Unfortunately, this is the type of work I seem to get when I hire people. The last 'handyperson' I hired, didn't know what a shower-pan or a basin wrench was. That's why I have had to do all the work myself. Ugh..........

God I hate crappy employees! I have a property maint company..basically a handyman type deal. I sent this clown on 3 jobs and he couldn't complete any of them.

1) hang a candleabra above a fireplace. I have to go fix his crappy work today after I work all day!
2)regrout a shower. couldn't do it and he had the wrong grout so told the lady see ya.
3) repair/replace a shutter. no deal.

The crappy part is I gotta call these folks and smooth it over.
