not trying to insult someone b/c of the car they own, after all, it's just a car - i just don't understand why people find it so hard to believe that absolute speed is not the most important thing to most ferrari owners?!?!?!

GM will never buy Ferrari. The Italian Government will never allow it.

Step lightly! When GM buys Ferrari .... you will get this kind of tit-for-tat thrown rigth back in your face.

Going to need to come up with a smarter line for insulting people.

adam: matt poses a good question, i mean you already have the ultimate sports car in your dodge viper... why would you want a 360? it can't even do 0-60 in under 4 seconds!!! gasp! and it would be "the slowest car on the track" (your quote) - double gasp!! how can ferrari compete with a company that produces the neon, stratus and the legendary dart?

They don't want any other cars because Ferraris would be the slowest cars on the track and all other people would make fun of them. That is why they stick together. LOL

Dunno of we met or not Martin, but I'll look for you next time. And I'll make sure I go to church and confession beforehand. :-)

Also had Porsches there in Homestead.

In Sebring we had a co-event with the Porsche Club and the Vette Club.

Paul Sloan will come to the next track event with a BMW Issetta

The Florida chapter invited Vipers and Lotus (Loti?) to a track day at Homestead. They even let a Vette join in.

To get Ferrari owners to bring their Ferrari to the event rather than their MB/BMW/Porsche or other non-Ferrari instead.

I know in the northeast they will let you in with another car if they have enough spaces if you are a FNA member because you will be one more paying person.

I participate in events with BMW, Porsche, and Ferrari in the southeast. BMW and Porsche welcome other makes of cars at their events. But Ferrari clubs generally do not allow participation of other makes. Why is this?
