TWA - No... 25k for the engine is a bit steep. Truthfully, I think I could fetch 5-6k for the engine, seeing how it is a '92. However, you are right about parting it out. The car is probably worth more in parts than as a whole. The only problem is that I don't have the time or the means to part it out - so some lucky guy will get a steal. You interested? | ||

That is an Awesome deal!!!!!!!!!! You could get 9k for the powertrain alone. It costs 25k for the engine normally. I think you should reconsider parting it out again and you'll most certainly pull more than a mere 9k. Your car is worth around 28-30k without the damage so I can't see why you only want 9k. What else is wrong with the car? | ||

This is way off topic here (Actually, I'm not sure if this is allowed on this board -- so if I've violated some rules, let me know)... I own a 1992 Acura NSX (~90kmiles) that has been salvaged from a rear-end accident that I was involved in earlier this year. The car is still in driving condition (no damage to the suspension or engine) but requires a rear clip. It has a salvaged title. For those of you that may be looking for a project car or if you want to add to your current track-car collection, this might be a good buy. I was thinking about parting it out, but thought it might make sense to just sell it quickly as a whole. Looking to get $9000 obo for it.
