Sorry, all the videos were moved to a Video section. Just go to http://rallyfreak.com and register. After you are registred the Video section will show up in RallyFreak Racing in the forum. The registration is now needed since the videos almost took the server down with 1K of people downloading it in one day.

Arthur, we had about 15 cars. Some were up front making sure that nobody blocked us and some behind to slow down the traffic. The cars that were passed were in the run and had cameras.

Steve, Vipers gearing is 3.09 and I can still spin the tires in 3rd. The top speed is 192.

My mistake Adam -- I didn't realize that 5th gear had such a large amount of overdrive (1.35X) -- and 6th is so high (2X) it probably should be called a "5-speed w/overdrive" ;)

Adam:

Finally figured out go to get to the videos. I don't know how fast that was, but I bet whoever was driving was really glad those people they passed didn't change lanes.

Steve, 4:10's are good for 175. The C5 that went 180 can do 200MPH. It has 500RWHP and 3:42 gears.

Stock Vette does not hit top speed in 6th because it is too high. It does it on 5th.

Adam -- I have no problem believing a 500RWHP ~3000lb car with a 4.10:1 final drive can run high 11/low 12 sec 1/4 mile, but are you saying in the same trim it can run 180MPH (which works out to ~9500 RPM)? -- doesn't seem possible...

You guys should join rallyfreak.com. Not only do they have great videos (that 180mph C5 is definitely cool), but they're funny as hell. I joined this week and have been lurking until I have something to say. A lot of emphasis on drag racing over there so I guess some people here wouldn't be interested, I'm all about it though. Plus, they have a strong NJ group which I'll have to meet with once I get the red whore back together.

The yellow C5 has 500RWHP and the black 460RWHP with 4:10 gears. Both of them went to 180MPH on our last fun run. make sure to save the video to hd or it will not play.
