I wonder what an Honda Accord would feel like at 140 mph...

100,000 miles in a Honda! Poor woman... I can't imagine much worse. Isn't it about time you bought her a real car! :-)

308,000 on my company 1991 Chevy cargo van. Just a vehicle we use as a backup, but why sell it, we'd get nothing for it. Runs and looks great. Ironic, the mileage being 308!

Reliability is not the sole domain of Japanese cars. The 1971 TVR 2500 (British) I sold before I bought the Ferrari had well over 250,000 miles (all by me) and was still a class winner at car shows.
Good question, though. I wonder what the highest mileage street-driven Ferrari has clocked??? Hmmm...

I can picture a 400k mile toyota or honda...My dad I know commutes about 100 miles daily 5 or 6 days a week. He drives a taurus though.

What is it that makes these cars so reliable and why can't they incorperate some of those things in other cars like Ferraris?

The T-belt change on my old 95 Civic EX was recommended at 90,000 and set me back 500 big ones including water pump

Congrats, but don't forget to change the T-belt!! I've seen some very expensive repair bills due to T belt breaking.

Car is a 98 model. She drove 50 miles a day for 5 years to work. It has some outer wear and dings, but inside is fine and runs like a champ. She was hinting about a new car so I gave her my jeep and the honda is now mine....anything I can to get that ferrari.

Unbelievable... Hondas & Toyotas are some of the most reliable cars ever made... Jim, how old is the car and what is the average monthly miles...? A friend of mine knows someone who's approaching 400,000 miles on his Toyota...

well it isn't a ferrari, but rather my wife's honda accord. All we have done is change oil, tires, brakes and windshield wipers.
