they arent hard to type in. you do know that excel can calculate eveerything for you and also that you onnly need to enter a forumla once and then use auto fill tofill inthe rest of the boxes, just make sure the cell adressing is correct (ie. that absoute cell adressing is used where its needed). theres a icon "f(x)" i think, or it muht just be "f" onthe tool bar that has all the notations for stuff you will need.

Dude, drop out of calc and then you can use a calculator whenever you want. Although, that might not be too good for your engineering degree...

well if someone could tell me the average sum of the slopes and the standard deviation for them that would be great too....
this just goes to show how dependent we are on calculators and stuff. i dont think i know how to find the standard deviation without one, and for this i have to show my work. in my calc class, calculators arent even allowed. on the bright side, i am learning how to do all types of stuff that i never thought was possible without one.
anyway, what i am trying to say is try to imagine a world without computers.

Tim

I'm not Excel expert nor I like MS stuff but ln(0.1)=-2.30 which is what you requested when u said LN(A23) ... probably you meant ln(B23) to get LN(.98)

Am I missing something? Your first picture shows you taking the natural log of column A and ln(0.1) is -2.3. Don't you want column B?
