Oh- i forgot to mention-- we went to Bentley of Long Island... They replaced the yellow 360 coupe with a red spider... Whooooo...! What a sweet-looking car... i'll never get tired of looking at that car... Anyone ever see a Ferrari (360 inparticular, but not limited to one) whose interior was the same color as the exterior... i've seen black/black, but what about California blue/California blue or red/red, etc, etc... Pictures would be awesome... Thanks...  | ||

Birdie called me from work, earlier this evening... Thought it was kinda weird considering the holiday and the fact that she's got a boyfriend at home... We haven't seen each other in weeks... Said she wanted to go out, after work... We didn't go anywhere, we just drove around... She got something to eat & let me drive... Today's day ten... i was finally able to drive- and not just to the store... She understands my passion... Let's hope this Saturn looks good tomorrow so i can get back on the road- this withdrawal is killing me... | ||

What's important to one person, may or may not be so important to another. Obviously driving isn't important to you... i'd be dead if i had to go a month without it... | ||

Parkway, Parkway... Your lines... your curves... your timeless swerves... mindless work, mine's superb... Dipping, touching, shifting, clutching; simply loving, but i'm missing something... Parkway, Parkway... Turning, leaning, yearning, weaving; burning, bleeding, surging, speeding- urging, needing, serve this feeding; learning, leading; wording greeting: Parkway, Parkway... Blinker, gas, clutch, shift, clutch, gas, blinker, gas... Changing lanes... crazy, sane... wavey plains, periferral horizon... amazing games on this parkway, parkway... Sorry, but in a few hours i'll be starting day five of this cruel and unusual sobriety of not driving... Minus two quick runs to the store in the huge, obscene, truck-like Navigator and i've been completely dry... The withdrawal is horrid and i'd wish it on no one... My parkway is so close, yet so far... |
