I reach in and start my car all the time, usually from the passenger seat. I've done it the last 2 days. Part of the 'joy' of owning the car is that it really needs to warm before it's driven. Sorry for your mishap. |

I made a huge mistake. While working on my car, I needed to start it, so I reached through the window and turned the key..... forgot to check if it was in gear. Well, now I know 308's will start in gear and not die, but rather take off. At least most of the damage is limited to the front spoiler. |
