I don't really like this version's ball roll...it takes forever for the ball to stop and it's much too sensitive.

That one blows. 55 the first round, but a hole in one on #3. The 10 strokes on the 'Skinny Water' Hole killed me.

Believe it or not, an employee of mine sent this to me last summer.
There are many ways to score on #8. For #17, if you straddle the 5th stone (above) between the 3rd and 4th dot, you'll make it every time.

That's how I play #8 extactly, but my ball on gets around the corner and not anywhere down close towards the hole. I bet your resolution is really high? and that way you can get more power on that. I'll try that because I have high resolution and I max it out how far I take back, but it still is aways from the hole. Hmm.

Here's how I did it.
#8, put the ball in the lower left corner. Use heavy power with the power bar extending past the barrier. Angle it so the power bar is just below the barrier.

#17, put the ball in the upper left corner. Then angle down about 40 degrees using moderate power. All varies with screens,as rob said, but the club should be about two inches above and two inches behind the ball.

To do a screen shot...

1) Hold down Alt and hit Print Screen.

2) Paste into a photo editing software and make sure to shrink it less than 640 pixels wide and save in gif or jpg format.

3) Upload to FerrariChat.com.

That would change with the resolution of the computer you're using I think. I use the grain marks and references on the actual hole for my line and speed.

Red is right when he said it was all about angles.

It is diffucult to explain how but I will try.

@8 put the ball on the top left hand corner of the mat,and then move the cursor to just under the G of the GO button.

@17 put the ball on the top right hand corner of the mat,and then move the cursor to just under the E symbol of the email address.

Not very scientific but it works for me.

I've been playing this off and on since last summer, and have NEVER gotten a score of less than 2 or 3 on 8 and 17. I don't see how it can be done.

I dont know if there is a trick with the windmill, sometimes I get lucky and sometimes I dont. One thing thathas worked for me is starting the ball on the side of the pad, and angling it through one of the side holes, then bouncing off a wall and into the hole. Thats jsut about as hard as teh windmill though.

Ok, 1 away from the best I can do. 21 with a 3 on #17, I have #17 down to 2 every time, but I played 10 games up to #13 and hit the windmill every single time. Any trick with getting through the wind mill?

Hey--Glad you guys get as much as a kick out of this as I do!!!

Rob--
#8, I have gotten a hole in one before, but it was a fluke. And it takes some serious ass luck!! 17 is a pain in my ass. That is the one hole that I always F up on. And 18 is possilbe to go hole in one on, evertime. Anlges, all about angles.

i got a hole in one on #18, in the score i posted below- but it was a fluke; any other time i got to #18, it took me in excess of ten tries... Yes, there's a trick to it, but i don't know if i can explain it right...

If you drop the ball to the left (top) of that vertical bar/block of wood thingie and aim to hit the ball straight up but angled ever so slightly to the left, it should go up passed the hole, uturn and come down and drop in... If someone else managed to do this and there's a better way of explaining it, please do... For me, #18 is either a hole in one or an all day event...

#18 is a . drop ball on one end or other of pad, hit it straight up and ball will stick on the hill, then you have to hit an angle shot into the hole. It breaks hard down hill, so you have to lead it. If you want to go for an ace you have to bounce it off the side, but I haven't mastered that yet.

Jordan, I've aced #4 before, but I can't reproduce it now. Every time I play the hole I remember my speed and angle, but haven't aced it the last 20 gaes, so I haven't mastered yet.

I think 2 on #8 is as good as you can get.

You can ace #13, but you have to go through the windmill. I hit it 90% of the time, so I just go to the side and get 2.

I don't think you can ace #17, but I know there is a way to get 2, I just haven't been able to reproduce it.

I also know there's a away to ace #18, but haven't got it down yet.

So I really guess it's possible to get a 20.

Ok, I'm through with the game, another 2-3 hours and I could drop a couple strokes. Once you ace it you just remember your line and speed. Pretty easy.
